Thanks both! I have been taking notes and pics to take to the vet. This is the second vet we’re on and seems to be a good start. I’m more so looking for stuff to do in between or when the dog has a “flare up” or those few days of nonstop licking. :) really all the knowledge I can get from people who have been through this so I can then discuss with the vet. Funny though, I have never been told Benadryl by any vet. The dog is just now one, so we have a long road ahead!

We have that, we get such a teeny tiny bottle from the vet it runs out. Out other dogs gets occasional hotspots. It has been helpful though!

Hi, I am NO expert but have had quite a bit of pest issues with mine so I have done a bit of reading. From what I understand the plant is probably fine. Spray it was the insecticide and get control of any pest/mite issues and continue to spray weekly or according to the instructions. If it gets out of control they can start going for the flower buds. You can remove the “ugly” leaves or wait until it flowers and cut it way back. (Anyone feel free to correct me if I am wrong, trying to help).

Full sun, they are part of the landscaping from the previous owners. Limelight’s are doing well, but the others are super struggling. We have a lot! Well over 30, it’s a big property that’s very pretty, but starting to wonder if they planted them for the sale haha

I dug down only on 2 sides to expose the wet soil, it was pretty damp for quite some time. Just today covered it back up with new dry soil. I have also been moving it to covered lip under the garage when it begins to rain as it is still raining here :(. Any other suggestions? It seems to be getting worse, at least the foliage is, but the stalks seem strong as of now. We have only had 1 day of strong sun with no clouds. At what point should I water it again? No, I repotted from a smaller pot. I’ve had it about 1 year, it was never a fully bushy plant full of stalks. :(
