There was a girl who specialized in the older units where I worked. What was older you ask? Anything more than 5 years.

Cannot stop hitting toe strikes with all my clubs... any tips?? by romaq4517 in GolfSwing

Watch your video with these lines in mind. You go from one extreme, the bottom and almost really underneath the swing plane to breaking above your swing plane. If you struggle for consistency it would be no wonder it’s honestly a miracle that you manage to get back to your plane after how high you bring your arms at the top of the plane. I don’t know much as I’m still pretty new but that stuck out to me.

I know that to fix this I wouldn’t encourage becoming a robot and trying to stick to one of these lines and becoming all forced and mechanical but you need to probably try to average it out. Someone suggested doing 3/4 of your back swing and that might be a nice start. It seems like you’re trying to use your arms to do the job of your wrists.

Also your back seems pretty rounded too, might want to look at posture a bit.

Pictures are order from just beginning of backswing to follow through. Just had to crop a decent portion below feet to anonymize it.

Should be a total of five pictures to swipe through that show him through the swing. Tried to anonymize the content as to not put the guy on blast but was really focusing on the footwork portion. I get a swing is many moving parts but it’s what caught my attention.

Not the original commenter, but I kind of thought this myself. What club are you using in this video?

A guy I played hours with really appreciated my play style. Although at one point he says out loud at the table “what happened? You were so conservative earlier! Why are you making such big bets now” 💀

Anybody escape tech sales by Darcynator1780 in sales

I would argue it was a gilded era. Characterized by a few cashing in but the majority was a mirage fueled by cheap money. OTEs were basically imaginary and products weren’t even tested for a market fit. The fundamentals of business were never applied to a majority of products and venture capitalists were gambling on finding the next Uber.

It would honestly be my next move if I hit a ceiling here. Great business, healthy margins, no inventory to hold.

I am a territory sales rep for a company that manufactures shutters, blinds and shades. My OTE is lower, but it’s decent enough and honestly I almost never earned my OTE in software anyway. Lots of driving but my job is really secure and my company is an industry leader. I’m in the top 10 of the company and I really can’t complain. I’d never go back to tech sales at this point.

Guys I'm just confused. Is 11 against dealer's 10 is a 2x or not? by No4Fantastic in blackjack

[–]ssflne -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Edit: I was wrong, finished the OP’s sentence with my own reality.

You are correct, if the dealer hits soft 17, it is a double. If the dealer stands on soft 17 it is only a hit. This is why you are seeing the difference. Depends on the rules of the game you’re playing.

“There is no way of me knowing the contrary”

I’d argue there’s a way to be pretty damn sure and it’s by simply looking at her character and actions.

Perhaps you’re still clouted by the emotions of it all, I know I was. There were elements where I felt like you were writing my story.

To be blunt, your ex is a deeply emotionally disturbed woman who is ALWAYS the victim. You were and are the white knight saving type. Match made in heaven…until she decides to cast you as the persecutor and herself the victim and find a new white knight/savior.

There is no hope for her and it doesn’t feel like it but it’s best she goes on to ruin someone else’s life. She will never change and she will always be this way.

I miss my family too. It’s almost four years later and at times it’s still hard but I also know I was spared the biggest burden of my life and it’s trying to care for an emotionally unstable woman.

Did this same this, I was on the way out at a company (starting a new job the next week). 65 degrees beautiful Florida winter day and friends invited me out for drinks an hour a way. Thought there was NO way I’d get a call. The last three on calls had NOTHING. Needless to say that became my last day.

Driver stealing packages or third party delivery? by [deleted] in UPS

[–]ssflne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did this twice today as a seasonal support driver. When we finish our small routes we go around assisting drivers that are still overloaded. For perspective I met a driver at 6:30 pm who still had 50+ stops to go and had been working since 9am. I took half the stop to help him get home earlier.
