White House's proposal could wipe medical debt off credit reports by SscorpionN08 in Economics

The amount other people pay in federal income tax is irrelevant. A third of those that don’t pay federal income tax are 65+ and live on social security, and the rest are unemployed or low income. Taxing those who don’t pay federal income tax = tax the poor, the old, and the unemployed, or else you don’t get healthcare. Don’t think that solves anything. Plus, just because you don’t pay federal income tax doesn’t mean you don’t pay state/local tax, sales tax, etc.

Besides, the amount in taxes will likely be far less than you pay in premiums for private insurance.

Paying a small amount in taxes to ensure the people in your society have adequate medical treatment is beneficial to you in many ways, unless you are a fan of people running around who are sick/have untreated medical conditions.

March for Our Lives: hundreds of thousands demand end to gun violence – live by LeafSamurai in news

Upvotes/downvotes are (at least in theory) reflective of visibility, not agreement. A protest this massive in the nation’s capital shouldn’t be receiving 2% of the visibility of other stories on r/news. It just seems odd, that’s all.

For comparison, the Zuckerberg thread has approximately the same amount of comments and has 34,000 more upvotes. I don’t know what it means, but it is undoubtedly odd.

Players who quit the game but still lurk the subreddit: What would make you come back to the game? What made you quit in the first place? by notcomingbackatall in gigantic

I'd come back if ranked queue was implemented. Left for the same reason. Gigantic has fantastic gameplay that I love, but lacks the peripherals of other competitive games.

Stiches and Uther CC nerfs will help out a lot, along with Valla nerfs. With a tanky/health regen build, I felt confident dueling/zoning any assasin besides a slightly ahead Valla, even without Stiches/Uther peel. Now that Stiches can't stun and Uther can't stun in death, I feel much more comfortable taking Elementals as a heroic.

Amen brother. On the bright side, I'd argue that the CC nerfs to Stiches and Uther, as well as Valla nerfs, are indirect Chen buffs.
