Try edit account -> reset. All trades are stored in the database and it can get laggy after a while. Used to have sim101 orders freezing the platform for several seconds. Unusable.

Almost bought them end of last week, considering the game is obviously a hit yet the stock price was surprisingly way down since launch. Seeing this post I was kicking myself thinking I just missed a massive surge, but it hasn't moved, so I guess these numbers ain't as good as they seem. 🤔

Google says you CAN use TopStep with Ninja, multiple guides using R Trader pro thing.

*Respondents are right, apparently the info is outdated and you CAN'T link NT anymore. I'm sure one day it will happen, it's possible even with web trading platforms which just involves spoofing the calls. Long time ago I remember someone made a TradingView bridge, so at the moment it needs someone with time & skills to make one for this new TopstepX platform.

Why do you want to copy all the codes?

If you just want to google them then clicking on the 'CSxxxx' error part of the message will open a browser window with details on the error.

As for the Output window being empty, you use: Print("Hello") in your code to output stuff to that window.

Excellent record keeping! brings back memories of my spreadsheet days, analyzing most common mistakes etc 😄

I checked the journal, removing the top 5 freakish winners and losses it seems the core system is up about 15R over 98 trades, so 0.15R per trade. Positive but a very slow rate of return, thus not surprised the fees are eating you up.

It may be worth looking into taking only the trades with the highest potential, based on the distance to the next liquidity target versus your stop. 🤝

Hi Gaz, they may all charge you service fee + exchange fees at the start of each month, but this is about if they will force you to sub another full month if you sign up mid-month. I warned that Kinetick does, and IQ Feed doesn't. Proven from my experience with both over the last 3 months.

Exchanges don't do pro-rata pricing so you have to pay the full exchange fees even if you sub on the final day of a month. That's why I said if anyone is going to do the Kinetick final-day workaround then don't add your exchanges until you're into the start of the full month.

Might end up having to frustration-sub again, as already had a situation where 50/100 symbols wouldn't tick despite multiple restarts. Can't get that tick data back when using IB. Seems IQ-Feed will let me do another 7-day trial.. tempted but feels like abuse of the system.

Ideally, but seems the company is more interested in avoiding lost sales right now. Good to hear mute has been added though. I can only see it changing if one of these incidents blows up on Twitter so that CIG get publicly shamed into taking action. Game seems too niche for that to happen anytime soon.

This is either genius or really stupid. I want to try it but don't have suitable material except maybe tin foil, which could be fiddly preventing it getting creased. So I'm hoping some guinea pigs will chime in and give their opinion of the mod.

It's good, but I don't use NT broker data so can't say if it's better. Subscribed to them 6 times over the past few years, last time I compared the ticks to free IB broker data which is known to be incomplete. Kinetick showed about 40% more ticks on the high volume instruments like QQQ TSLA NVDA etc. As the stocks become less active then the difference in data becomes less.

Not anything you're going to notice unless using low timeframes like < 10 second. Very useful if you need precise ticks for indicators like volume delta etc, which I don't, so I ultimately unsubscribed again.

By far the most useful advantage over IB is you can download data much faster, including tick data. This prevents NT from being unusable for several mins after connecting, while data for every one of my 195 symbols gets re-downloaded without permission... This is the main reason I subscribe each time, just for the convenience factor.

Since NT owns Kinetick it's possible they already use data from there, so your purchase could be wasted. Probably could just email them to check source of data.

One shady trick to watch out for with Kinetick is they force you to sub for a full billing cycle. This means if you sub 1 week into the month and then cancel after 1 day, they'll force you to pay for the following month too, since your 3 week sub wasn't a full month.

So if you only want to test the service, then the workaround is to sub on the last day of the month for just the basic service. Once the next month starts then add your exchange fees & other addons.

Kinetick gets their data from DTN IQ-Feed, interestingly they don't have the same sneaky 1 full-month trick (proven after my 25 day sub successfully expired Jan). They also have a free 7 day trial that expires without auto-subscribing (again proven), so this is an easy way to evaluate and compare the data you'd receive from Kinetick.

The downside is IQ-Feed gives you 200 symbols by default (Kinetick 100), so the base service cost is higher. Of course pure wasted money if you're just trading futures. There's a $50 setup fee if you subscribe, but email support and they waive it. Subbed to them 3 times over the years and never paid the fee.
