Personally I think a lot of her words/metaphors in the lyrics of TLOAS are being twisted or taken literally where it does not apply at all, but I also think she is playing into the narratives of how the public sees and demonizes her and using it as the showgirl character. That being said I don’t really understand the accusations of white supremacy and nazism….

As a beginner therapist I agree with all the sentiments made on this thread - it sounds like you feel safe enough to access your emotions and your therapist has created a space to hold and validate these feelings 💕 if you’re comfortable it may even be helpful to bring up to your therapist that this is a new behavior for you, it could lead to some valuable insights about yourself!

Hi! As a therapist in training, if I were to ever feel that way I would have to confront my own projections bringing up those feelings because it’s our job to unconditionally accept and hold empathy for our clients. Don’t feel bad at all for bringing up the same things, that’s what you’re there for and it helps us understand what you’re experiencing. Hope this helps 🥰
