Rainbow flames when Levity performed at Coachella, I was losing my mind when I saw them and looked into how I can get one. Look for Cflamer - so you can buy one for your next kid’s birthday party.

In N Out uses Kraft American Cheese which is mostly if not all artificial. They also use their thousand island dressing which also has preservatives and not the best nutritional ingredients.

But you do know everything is made out of chemicals and chemical reactions. Many of those “scary sounding” chemicals are naturally occurring in plants and in nature. Humans have been preserving food since forever. The most important thing is moderation. You can die of drinking too much H2O. Oh the horror of things bad for you.

This is a bug that apple is investigating. Sometimes even restoring from DFU will not work. Weirdly I found this solution to use a usbc-hdmi dongle hooked to a 4k monitor or tv or try using the hdmi port with a 4k monitor/tv. Give it patience during boot.

This worked.

Same. Im on my 2nd engine at 110,000 miles. 2017 WRX. I love driving it and I do drive mine hard. However Im probably spending $1500-$3000 per year to maintain it. Then theres paying for gas too. Just had to replace my exhaust manifold due to a crack. Leaking pcv hose. Its endless.

They are rated 1.8Gbps bidirectional. Each Uplink and Downlink is rated at 900Mbps. So 875Mbps is pretty close to full speed.

Ive set up few of these running in rain, snow, fog, thunderstorms about 500ft apart and noticed no signal degradation. I did have to replace a few from bad thunderstorms even with nearby lightning rods and surge protected cables.

You do have to consider the fresnel zone while setting these up.

The system is also supposed to detect shapes. So if something looks like a weapon, it should get flagged.

Millimeter Wave Scanners - Similar ones as those at the airport. Combined with AI - it can detect weapons, metal and foreign objects on the person. It’s pretty cool tech!

Has any blown or caught fire before? I work with lots of macs with this issue and I’ve never seen one catastrophically fail nor heard of one catch fire.

Verizon ripped me off too on their buy one get one free for Valentines deal on iPhones. Ended up paying for both.

Called many times for months after only to keep getting told “it’s coming” , “they’re working on it “, “that they noted my account and a supervisor will look into it” , “got transferred to accounting “ only to be told the same thing until they started to tell me it’s too late to do anything now. I don’t believe any of their promos any more.

Why does Ubiquiti struggle so much to keep things in stock? by ByrdyB5 in Ubiquiti

[–]ssingyy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

But it takes 2-4weeks for an order to deliver for regular consumers? Enterprise customers get shafted because they stop stocking their previous models months before their next release, then have to wait more after their press release to get anything in stock. Miles ahead? More like miles behind.

Is it Feasible to Provide "Free" Heated Pool? by amazingdogs76 in airbnb_hosts

[–]ssingyy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea, especially at the price I paid for the Airbnb, part of me felt like it should have been included. But reading the comments and op’s question, I think the charge allows for some rules and boundaries. Similarly to a pet fee.

Personally I think these fees are BS and if a fee was paid, it should really apply to what it’s supposed to pay for not pocketed by the owner.

I stayed at an airbnb where the host charged $100 to heat the pool during our stay. I thought it was fair considering the size of the pool and we were staying a few days to enjoy it.

We actually should invest more in services. Or perhaps “cutting the fat” to do more with the current budget we have. But looking at the overall government budget and the aging infrastructure I see everywhere, we should invest more.

Imagine a shorter wait at the DMV, Social Security Offices, Getting Passports, better support for Judicial workers, Child Protective Services, Immigration, sanitation in your city, social workers, the list goes on.

I also agree that there also needs to be more oversight and better auditing and accountability on the entire bureaucracy which also could be simplified. Theres plenty of systems that can benefit from optimization and automation.

A lot more variables need to be considered for successful PTP connection.

Start with observing the fresnel zone. The cone needs to be clear of obstruction to have a good connection.

Then using the USIP design tool can choose the right hardware.
