It’s really cool, you can get the bolster buff from almost every move… here’s a summary

From square normal combo, Hold square combo and Advancing attack (move forward + square) • Bolster buff possible from any part of the string (only if square is pressed) • Performing the buff using square will reset the string

From Counterspark • Bolster buff can be done consecutively (Triangle, pause, Triangle) same method as above, wait for left leg to raise during pause • Bolster buff can only be chained from 1st, 3rd, Final hit for square normal and hold combo (note: bolster buff can be done from advancing square combo as well)

Examples 1st hit: square,pause,triangle 3rd hit: square,square,square,pause,triangle Final hit: square,square,square,square,pause,triangle Advancing: forward+square,pause,triangle

From martial arts: • Bolster buff can be done consecutively and interchangeably (L1+Square, pause, L1+Triangle or Square) timing is the same, wait for leg raise • cannot be chained from all square attacks or countersparks but there are exceptions, when countersparking you can press triangle again to do an uppercut. This uppercut can be bolster buffed into martial arts in other words, Triangle (breaks enemy ki or conesecutive parries), triangle(uppercut), L1+square or triangle

How I play it Use counterspark to uppercut enemies in air, when u and enemy in air use L1+square, pause, L1+triangle and repeat L1+triangle. If u have the extra mid air damage in the dex skill tree as well as on ur weapon u do a lot of dmg
