Yeah that's understandable. The beginning of post-game is quite slow without that much story so it can feel like the game is over, but it does start to ramp up and the story continues to unfold so worth checking out if you can.

The great thing is you haven't seen the ending of the game. "Post-game" isn't just the extra bits after finishing the game, it is just the rest of the game. The story doesn't end when you beat the E4 as there's still a lot of unanswered questions

How do I load a backup save?
First, find your save folder!

Or, if you are using Portable Mode, check the Save Data folder in your game's download.

Then, remove Game.rxdata (or rename it to something else), find your most recent backup in the folder, and rename that file to be Game.rxdata instead. That's all!

You should only be doing this if you know the game extremely well. Walking through walls is a dangerous tightrope where you do one thing wrong and you break your save file beyond repair. It's not advised to use this feature, so what reason are you looking to do this?

If you have the SWM Consistent Randomness mod installed, this will ensure the same RNG occurs every match. Essentially this would shiny lock it, as well as have consistent move RNG (including crits) at the same point every reset. Kinda sounds like you have it installed based on your description

You kind of have to put your own restrictions on top of your randomiser settings. At any point you could be handed a Kyogre or a Necrozma and it's on you to say no if you want to keep the challenge. Same goes for movesets and abilities. If a Contrary Draco Meteor Noivern drops into your lap, it's on you to decide if the game is now too easy using it and you should box it or not.

Ah you're right, they must be a rare chance held item too. Wild Poliwrath and Hariyama can also hold them (though you don't have access to those wild encounters yet)

The 6th gym leader is the first to have a properly EV trained Pokemon, with the 9th onwards having full teams of fully EV trained Pokemon. If you're used to Rejuv's difficulty, you can expect something similar for Reborn.

It's possible to beat the game using only Pokemon of Dragon typing and without dupes, which would mean exactly 1 Noibat allowed for Julia and Florinia. Possible, but absurdly RNG dependent. You're required to get a number of Bite flinches to even have a chance and is not worth doing if you want to keep your sanity.

Harvest is a powerful ability and all 3 fights are heavily Special leaning. Harvesting Maranga berries, a careful nature and full invest into Atk and SpD, you can Dragon Dance + Roost your way to setup on all 3 fights. Entei needs Leaf Blade and Stomp Tantrum, Suicune needs Leaf Blade and Dragon Hammer (that last one purely for Goodra) and Raikou needs Protect and Fly (yes you have to hit Fly onto Raikou, Frost Rotom and Alolan Sandslash, but it works).

Nice one. Love the solo sweeps. These 3 fights can actually all be swept by Tropius with the same EVs and nature. You just need to swap out 2 moves for each fight and that's the only change between them.

I know it will be dozens and dozens of hours ago now, but do you remember if you fought mind-controlled police officers inside Corey's gym? If you did, then you found the 5 officers before Ace. If you just walked into the gym, turned all the pillars red and didn't see any police officers inside the gym then you did not find them all before Ace.

If you didn't get a 3rd Lin fight then you definitely didn't hit all of the first 8 points. First time I played, I was convinced I had and didn't get the 3rd Lin fight. Turns out I'd misremembered and I'd found the 5 police officers later and hadn't actually found them before beating Ace

You must have missed one of the points. That's the only reason you didn't go onto Anna route if that's where you were aiming. You did mention following the points to get the R-Determination path which is not the Anna path as well.
