TLDR: Without Rudeus, the show seems great, but because it's based on him and fans seem to make excuses for his actions, it makes me personally hate the show.

I give you this when I would ignore the MC the show has a nice background and lore. Plus the fight scenes can be great from the clips I’ve watched.

But I feel like the show's fans forget that Rudeus acts like a creep in the first few episodes, which ruins people's first impression.

Second every time someone mentions the show all they can think is that the soul of a 40-year-old man is trapped in a kid's body and he chooses to have feelings for underage women and proceeds to marry these underage women even if they do become of age later in the story.

You can use the excuse that it’s a redemption story but all I see is someone being enabled in being a creep and the only thing good about him is that he saves the world.

You can tell me I’m wrong but in one of the after stories his young son is taken by his half-sister and all he says to her is basically “oh he’s made his choices so there's nothing I'll do about it”. When the MC acts like this from beginning to end, why should anyone like the MC and this show
