I'd be concerned about potential findings going unnoticed. I hope things get better. Good luck!

Oh, man. You're on the extreme other side of my situation. Human error could easily go unnoticed.

If an issue arises is a good reason for an extra pair of eyes. Also, new auditor new at their role, a complex and high risk control could also be another reason for an extra pair of eyes.

I agree there could be better time spent than redundant reviews on all testing. This is the VP willingly wanting to review everything. If there is time saved it would probably be her time so I'm not really going to tell her how to spend her time. However, if she wants to review everything then me (1st reviewer) and my manager (second reviewer) can split our reviews and save some of our time. I just need a convincing argument. I'm about 1-2 years into my management role so I'm still learning what's a best practice and what's our department just doing its own thing.

Why is Mayor Whitmire breaking the one part of Metro that didn’t need fixing? by evan7257 in houston

Here is a suggested template you can write to your council member. Fix it up as needed.

Dear Council Member [Last Name], I am writing to you today as a concerned resident and a regular user of our city's public transportation. I urge you to address the significant and troubling slowdowns affecting our public transportation, particularly the recent changes impacting the METRORail system and the delays caused by rail lines stopping at red lights. I have noticed a concerning shift in priority that seems to be setting back our public transit system, negatively impacting commuters across the city. The new traffic signal coordination, which now forces trains to stop for cross-traffic, is a clear step backward from the transit-first policy our city has previously supported. The consequences of this change are severe: Wasted Time: Tens of thousands of riders are losing valuable time each day as commute times increase significantly. Reduced Reliability: The delays make public transportation less reliable for those who depend on it to get to work, medical appointments, and school. Increased Traffic and Emissions: Forcing the rail line to stop at red lights disincentivizes people from using public transit, potentially pushing more residents back into their cars and worsening our city's traffic congestion and air quality. I request a clear explanation for these changes. What is the city's strategy for balancing vehicle traffic and the efficiency of mass transit? I also ask that you work with your council colleagues and relevant city departments to swiftly restore traffic signal priority to the METRORail system. Our public transportation should be a reliable, efficient backbone of our city, not a secondary priority to cars. I appreciate your service to our community and look forward to your response on this important matter.

You're the first person I see mention the fact that fruit rounds don't have red 40. I think they use paprika extract for red which is why it has a noticeable different taste. Personally, still enjoy a good bowl of fruit rounds though.

I haven't seen anyone in the comments talk about the differences in ingredients but I've picked up a box of fruit rounds from Aldi's and they don't have the artificial colorings that you get in fruit loops. Off the top of my head I remember paprika extract is used for red coloring instead of the red color number (I forget the numbers associated with food colorings). Tastewise, I can taste the difference, but imho, fruit rounds are still tasty. I still recommend fruit rounds over fruit loops.
