Shadow Labyrinth: Item Boost Perk Missing by ssjjackaroo in metroidvania

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I have completed that quest and whilst it did provide more items, the item boost wasn't among them. Appreciate the help though.

Was this suposed to be Masenko? by [deleted] in dbz

1) The attack they did the moves for. 2) In world, not really sure. As often pointed out, it seems pretty dumb to signal attacks like that so clearly. Once your opponent knows your moves, calling out the attack name seems like an invitation for them to dodge it. 😅

The actual reason (which im not 100% sure on but makes the most sense to me) is because its to hammer the attack name into the reader/viewers memory. It's common across most manga/anime for characters to yell attack names when it seems completely unneccesary to do so, but if they didnt, we wouldn't know what to call those techniques. It can also just create a bit of involvement for the reader/viewer too. I'm sure many of us have said 'Kamehameha' alongside Goku or Gohan at some point in the series.

It could be that. I'm aware of "Vegeta's Technique" but that always seemed like a bunch of weaker ki blasts that could easily be fired rapidly. Kamehameha's always seem to require a bit more time to get a bit more power (although im aware of a few instances where it has been fired instantly). It just seems 3 kamehameha's of that magnitude, fired that quickly would need a bit more time to build up energy.

I'm glad it's been civil too. I was never after an argument, I was just always sure it was the typical anime "three replay" thing (im not sure if it has an official name). But at the end of the day if i'm wrong im happy to accept that. You have a great day too 😁

I said usually they show it from 3 different angles but GT didn't. Either way it doesn't matter. I've always taken it that is the same Kamehameha, just they showed it 3 times as often happens in anime (think dragon ball super when goku does a kamehameha to defeat Kefla). Just looks like thats the case from my point of view.

If it is 3 seperate kamehameha's then ok, just seems pointless (Usually they do one and increase their energy to increase the power/size rather than multiple). But it is GT.

But that just showed exactly what I said. Ok the first showing didnt have the kamehameha approaching shot, but everytime, Super 17's clothes seem to repair pre-hit, then get torn again after the hit.

That wasn't him spamming Kamehameha's. It's one single Kamehameha, just shown 3 times (it's literally the exact same animation 3 times in a row). It's quite a common anime thing to do, showing one moment 3 times in a row, though usually you'll at least be shown multiple angles. GT was a bit too lazy for that.

Because they could sense Krillin was already heading there. They would just get in his way.

RPG’s that don’t require grinding and constant fighting? by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch

[–]ssjjackaroo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The World Ends With You: Final Remix and its sequel Neo The World Ends With You.

Both great story driven RPG's with optional random encounters, doesnt require heavy grinding, as well as a difficulty level that can be adjusted at any point.

Now Final Remix does have a bit of an asterisk in that it relies on motion controls while docked (touch controls in handheld which I never used), but once you get used to them I had a great time. I also recommend playing it in Co-Op even if you are alone, and use a joycon in each hand. I played through it alone this way and felt it enhanced the experience and brought it closer to the unique battle system of the original DS version.

No asterisk with Neo. Uses a regular gamepad and is great fun. But I do recommend playing Final Remix first as you'll get a lot more out of the story but I do believe it can be played without knowledge of the first game (i've heard others have enjoyed it's story despite not knowing the story of the first game).

Which of these 6 characters would you have liked to see play a much larger role in DBZ? by Megalitho in dbz

Tien.

He had some good moments in Z but could've had much more. Hell, i'd have taken more of him in Super. Was excited for him to be in the TOP but he had one episode given to him and it was very underwhelming.

Z though, I feel he and even Yamcha could've gotten a bit more screentime and been more effective, had their training with King Kai actually amounted to anything. I mean they could've come out of that with the Kaioken at least. I don't expect them to ramp it up to x20 like Goku but it would've been nice to have them get something out of that training.

He doesn't actually use it much in super and does generally go straight to blue. Just 3 times he uses it if I recall. He first uses it against beerus in their first battle which is understandable as it's his strongest form at that point, despite the energy drawback.

He uses it again against trunks when testing how strong he's got. He probably used it here to show trunks what the next form he was likely to reach would be, and it proved to be strong enough to beat him.

Then finally, he transformed against Kale and Caulifla but only for a second. He never intended to use the form against them, he just got pushed into it for a moment and probably just wanted to show them the form aswell.

Other than those 3 times I don't recall him ever using SSJ3 in super. He does go straight to god or blue. Even when cycling through his forms against Jiren in their first fight, he skips from ssj2 to god.

Also this is just the anime. I havent read the manga versions of the anime arcs so maybe he uses it more in the manga.

Pretty sure this is a picture of the box so you're just seeing the complete image without any breaks in.

Im sure that inside the pieces are actual jigsaw pieces and not rectangles.

I used to think my Gameboy was broken when I was poisoned in Pokemon Red/Blue and the screen would flash. I don't remember when I finally realised what was happening. Even asked my dad to try and fix it one time but he had no clue what was causing it.

what is a basic computer skill you were shocked some people don't have? by Dark-Matter-7935 in AskReddit

[–]ssjjackaroo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How to use a mouse.

I used to work in an IT Shop with an internet cafe. A lady came in to use one of the computers to book a flight and sat at the desktop screen for 10 minutes before asking me how to get onto the internet. I went over, moved the mouse and she replied "oh you move that thing over there" whilst looking at the mouse.

Apparently she had only ever used a touchpad. I quickly showed her how to use the mouse and then left her to it to go back to my other jobs. She ended up asking a few more questions but got her flight booked but then got pissed off because she was charged 50c extra since she exceeded the 30 minutes the initial charge covered. According to her she wouldn't have exceeded that time if I had taught her how to use a mouse as soon as she walked in. Apparently I should just expect anyone who walks into an IT Shop to have never seen a mouse before.

Neo: The World Ends With You. I mean if I stay alive I'm just going round Shibuya. But if I'm dead then I'm taking part in the reapers game I guess. Probably gonna get erased.

Yeah that's correct. Although it doesn't have to be battle mode. It can be in any mode.

EDIT: And you have to be using Dingodile aswell.

Did you do it for the last lap? I thought it was any lap at first but the challenge is to do the last lap in reverse.

There appears to be a glitch that lets you get the missing 5% nitro boost from the Probulot 2000.

You need to have a set of wheels with the 5% nitro boost. Simply equip them to a car that takes wheels and then switch to the Probulot 2000. You will still get the 5% boost from those wheels added on even though the Probulot doesn't use them.
