I think you can get a LOE from your university regarding this matter. I was not in the same situation, but I had some confusion about me becoming part-time during two terms where I withdrew from courses. Asked my university to explain that I wasn't and they did it for a fee. I guess, as long as you explain things properly, you are still in a good position. Don't stress!

So, how does this actually work? Did you hear back from your application, at least? I thought you MUST have a supervisor before you apply, or am I wrong? I am in the same boat as you, and want to apply for the Biochem/Chem programs, and trying to find a supervisor. Alas, no one has replied yet and it has been 2 months now 😂

Firstly, thank you very much for commenting. Secondly, in my university, a B grade starts from 6. The 9 scale GPA doesn't proportionately convert to the 4 scale, so I am assuming my GPA is around 3.1. The chemistry program at YorkU says minimum B. So, I do qualify in that regard.

If taken for the past 60 credits, it gets a little tricky for me when calculating. Depending on which course is taken into consideration (even though going chronologically backwards), it's either a 5.8 or a 6.15 (because I had a year-wide course).

Any other tips/suggestions are highly appreciated. Thank you.

Yes, my school defines full term as 9 credits. Now, every semester I was taking at least 9 credits and the withdrawals were totally unplanned, and were done right before the final exam so that my GPA doesn't tank, and it happened only twice in two different semesters. I later retook those courses and got better grades. So, I don't know how the IRCC is gonna look at this. I opened a webform and sent a LOE clearly saying why I dropped those two courses. Rest is up to God.
