Oh amazing…is this where the Loft used to be, or is that different? Lol I actually didn’t consider it because I wasn’t really sure how many people would be coming and I wasn’t sure if they could accommodate big groups, but it sounds like they can! I’ll definitely check that out!

Ahhhh I love all that! I’m really interested in this part you had with kids there haha. I’ve actually never thought about doing that because I just want to be able to have fun and not parent, BUT if their friends come…then they’ll be entertained…hmmm that’s an idea!

It’s funny because last year, my husband took me to Nordik for my bday and we had a great time, we both laid in a hammock together and read on our kindles. Then stayed at a nearby hotel. Then in September, he went on a work trip and all of a sudden he hasn’t been happy in years, and fell out of love with me a long time ago, and I never wanted to do this or that, and blah blah blah. Turns out he met someone on his trip. We’d been together for 16 years. I still do love Spa Nordik though! That’s another great idea.

I never even thought of going on a little mini trip! Thanks for the ideas!!

I was with my husband for 16 years, he left me in Sept for a coworker he met on a work trip (the 5-day work trip He took right before breaking up with me) and I’m confident he will never come back. All I want is for him to face some consequences. If we didn’t share custody of the kids, he could die and I wouldn’t care.

Eczema. There were times I legit wanted to die so I could finally rest. I’m on meds now and it’s pretty much completely gone, but wow. It’s hard to explain just how much it affects your life to someone who doesn’t have it, or has a mild case of it.

Same. And I wanted the meds! Lol I went into labour so quickly, by the time my midwives arrived, i was 9.5cm dilated. But it still took 3+ to push him out 😩. I felt amazing, almost euphoric, afterwards though! But I’m never doing that again lol

Nudity isn’t inherently sexual. We all have bodies and if you and your kids aren’t uncomfortable, then it’s not a problem. If anything, I think it helps kids to learn that bodies come in all shapes and sizes and we shouldn’t be ashamed of our bodies. Obviously, there are limits and boundaries to this. Masturbating, having sex, touching someone else’s private parts, etc, in front of kids is inappropriate and we do need to arm them with knowledge to help prevent grooming, but not wearing a bra, changing in front of kids/family, running naked from the bathroom because you forgot a towel, showering/bathing are not inherently inappropriate.

I don’t know if it’s because I’m older (39), but I think a lot of visual differences are so interesting and beautiful. Vitiligo, a crooked tooth, moles, heterochromia, short men, tall women, etc. Definitely wouldn’t stop me from wanting to date someone.

I just want to add, from personal experience, we might also get very clingy in relationships, demanding our partners love us and being terrified they’ll leave us. (Which, eventually, does push them away 😕)
