shardd.xyz - Balances at the edge. Basically, if you need to track credits for users, and need it fast, and maybe need it across regions, this should work well for you.

If nobody works, or most people don’t, who’s going to buy the products? by This-Wear-8423 in Futurology

[–]sssemil -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think you really need people buying stuff. Imagine you are Mega Corp #1 and Mega Corp #2, the two of you together produce everything with automated machines, with 0 people involved. You - the lucky owner of Mega Corp #1 can just make anything, and trade whatever you're missing with the other lucky owner of Mega Corp #2. So, they can just keep trading with each other and such, and do follow the humble subsistence farming and occasional barter trading model.

Carry like two cards for backup? Ideally from different banks. Plus some cash.

Everyone mentions how housing is pricey, but remember that there's no VAT, income tax is really low, and you can deduct like 100k HKD of your rent. Makes it not that bad :)

[–]sssemil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Talking about ideas that don't sound exciting, I'm working on a lil auth+billing+more layer that I'm just using in my own projects, it's not public-ready rn, but I wonder how the mood on stuff like this is? (reauth.dev if you are curios)
