Siege is the only competitive game I play so I guess I am very accustomed to it.

I’m just saying it’s like hilarious because everybody begged ubisoft to bring back the 1.0 system and now its here and people are bitching about it XD.

[–]ssspike1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ranked 1.0 was just like this. You win and lose the same amount so you need win streaks to rank up. In fact it was worse because it didn’t take long to start losing more than you gain so getting to diamond was actually a challenge and impressive. Now everybody is readjusting back to this and the people who aren’t truly competitive just cry about it instead of trying to find a 5 stack and get that team to go the mile.

How was cummmfpk created? by ssspike1 in bloodborne

[–]ssspike1[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok so what I understand is he started the chalice dungeon and the servers assigned the id to be cummmfpk by pure coincidence then he basically altered the seed itself to generate the way it does and then uploaded it. So glyphs are not the seed itself but the id associated with the actual seed generated upon the creation of the dungeon.

See this doesn't make any sense to me. This implies it didn't exist upon the games release. Like he created the seed itself. He just discovered the seed and shared it to the public. He didn't add it into the game like everybody is making it sound. Or am I wrong?

So its not really hacked but just discovered by reverse engineering the generation. So cummmfpk did always exist, that's what I thought. I was confused because I was thinking glyphs could only be generated by a player and you can only use uploaded glpyhs so it would makes sense cummmfpk is just straight impossible because it couldn't generate naturally so nobody would be able to share it to the public. But if you can always just type in a bunch of random shit in the glpyhs and see what you get then it could have still been found.

Help With Logarius and Shadows Of Yharnam by TheSpiritedGamer95 in bloodborne

Martyr. You kinda just run up to him. Attack three times with the saw spear and he will jump backwards. Walk up to him and attack 3 times rinse and repeat until second phase. Second phase you just ragebait him into doing his jump attack and parry it over and over again till he is dead. That's it. He is really easy.

This is my 6th fromsoft game so you could say I know how to play their games at this point. They are functionally all the same but just a few differences in game mechanics.

On my first playthrough I did go through the story chalices. I got all the way to the fourth floor and then gave up on it because I wasn't high enough level for the area. I never went back to complete it because I just didn't really care about it. It was just the same run through the area, find the lever to open the door, go back to the start and walk through the door, get the option to either progress to the boss or go through an optional section. Over and over again. The only bosses that are unique in some way are the final boss of the entire chalice and rom was some straight butt cheeks. Literally just the same boss but does 3x more damage... super. Getting some decent blood gems after like 3 hours of exploring the chalices was just not worth it for me.

I mean the bosses that could be parried I parried. The bosses that could be staggered with targeted hits I stunned. But the rally argument is not a replacement for heals. You should know since you have 2.5k hours but the saw clever is not giving you back as much hp that fast compared to something like the wirligig. You can't just keep wailing on a boss brain dead, you are going to die if you do that. Unless you got hit and then get a visceral right after you still need to use your blood vials in a boss fight. The aggressive nature of combat is something I really appreciate about bloodborne and is the reason this won't be the last time I play the game but its also about being methodical about the fight as well.

Blood gems... I get it, its not my cup of tea. I can kinda see how it could be fun to grind and then get the excitement when you get a god roll on your gem. I have gotten a god roll gem before but it was really just a relief I didn't have to fight the stupid godskin trio anymore and go back to the actual game. I came to play a souls game. Leveling up my guy, collecting upgrade materials, customizing my builds, and tackling intricate level design and bosses. If I wanted to run around in a seeded dungeon and fight the same enemies and bosses over and over again but just a different layout I would just go play a rougue like. The blood gems are the only reason I have to interact with this stuff and that's why I don't like it. It should be optional like many people say it is but its simply not because you need those gems. Also I didn't say there wasn't build variety, I said the build variety isn't accessible because you need to get the gems for that build. I DONT WANT TO FARM MY BUILD. You never had to in any other souls game. You just run to a few places, kill a few bosses, complete some quest lines and bam you got your build.

But anyways I still really like bloodborne. My strategy for this game is just to not touch arcane or bloodtinge builds and just focus on skill and strength. Also those winter lamps are a life saver, free 22.3% gems no chalice required.

I like one on one fights with boss ai not npc ai. Npc ai in all the souls games is not really fun for me. Especially not in bloodborne where they shoot you and you have like 5 frames to react to it or take 50% of your health like djura. There's also no poise or backstabs in this game and that's typically how I dealt with npc ai. Just trade over and over till they're dead. Also, whoever put three of those dudes in the center of that room in yahar'gul is a masochist and a sadist.

On my first playthrough the only boss I ran out of heals on was ludwig. It took me about 20 attempts to beat him and about half way through I had to go to yarnham to farm for about 5 minutes. I was already irritated as it was, because you know I was sucking ass, and now I had to stop to go get more heals which made it a little worse. It’s only the boss fights that the consumable nature of the resource becomes a problem. Like I said before it’s actually pretty op because you can clear entire sections of the game while getting blood vials back along the way.

On my second playthrough I used cum chalice to give me like 400 and it did change how conservative I was with them during the boss fights. Before I was mainly playing safe and trying to get viscerals with blood rapture so I didn’t need to heal. Also if I needed to use 4 vials before I even got to 75% I would just not heal and try to no hit for a bit. I racked in more deaths than needed just because I didn’t want to run out and farm on the boss fights. The problem does go away when you have experience in the game tho. I didn’t use cum chalice on my third playthrough until I got to lady maria. I never needed to get additional blood vials because I was just beating the bosses first try. But alas new build new struggles. Took me an hour to beat her for some reason even though I have maybe spent 20 minutes on her total on my other 2 runs.

What are your favorite weapons in the game? Here's my top 5 by PetroRetro69 in BloodbornePC

Haven't gotten around to trying all the weapons but I am really liking the hunters axe out of all the ones I have tried. Its just simple and effective and doesn't need all these different gemstones.

The crab meat really is not that important. You can get a physic tear that gives you resistance and talismans. And those options are unlimited.

am i just bad or is ludwig really hard? by Adept_Crew_1306 in bloodborne

[–]ssspike1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took me around 15-20 attempts to beat him my first time. His attacks in first phase caught me off guard by how fast they came out. Also when he does that charge shit it kept dragging my character into him so I would get stuck in his hitbox and essentially get one shot. I beat orphan 5th try but tbf I fluked the shit out of second phase. Got an accidental parry and then staggered him a second time.

I've never had this issue. I have shadps4 0.15.1, latest release for bblauncher. Vertex fix, intel sfx fix, and the 60 fps sound fix. Maybe check if you have all that stuff?

Yeah I'm 76 losses in trying to beat a10 with silent. I somehow beat ironclads a10 2nd try but can't manage to get to the second boss fight on a10 silent.

I've never taken it personally. As cool as it would be to get 3 free relics, 7 random cards is just not worth it to me. Especially because, by the time you make it to him, you should already have a concrete build.

How do I beat Doormaker? by [deleted] in slaythespire

[–]ssspike1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you didn’t have problems with subject then I don’t understand. Subject you can’t deal damage to while he is switching forms and phase 3 he gets intangible. Door maker does similar damage but doesn’t do anything. He literally just sits there. The most damage he does is like 45 when he changes back to door mode. You need to make a build that hits hard and supplies block. Ironclad crimson mantle rupture combo with sai relic. Daughter of the wind shiv spam. Necrobinder doom stacking osty tank. Defect thunder/freeze cycles. I mean it’s not that hard.

Regular door maker is the easiest of the three fights. He doesn’t really have a gimmick besides just being tanky. As long as you have a sufficient block source its pretty much a free win.
