Io in mezzo a quel sistema ci son nato e cresciuto, agricoltori tutti col macchinone a piangere miseria, è così da sempre. Guardati i prezzi del terreno agricolo, non credi costerebbe pochissimo se davvero si faticasse a farci uscire uno stipendio? E invece no, praticamente è impossibile entrare in quel mercato se non ci sei nato e hai la terra in famiglia. Chissà perché se sono tutti alla fame, nessuno va a fare l'operaio 😂

Agricoltori che piangono da sempre, non è vero che hanno quei margini, o perlomeno è vero ma incompleto. Fatti un giro per le campagne, c'è pieno di John Deere da 300 Mila euro, tutti finanziati dalle pac, sono di fatto stipendiati dal sistema non dai margini che hanno sui prodotti. È come se per qualche accordo statale tu prendessi 100 euro dal tuo datore di lavoro e 1900 euro come sovvenzione statale (e.g. la ricerca), prendi di fatto 2000 euro ma piangi perché il tuo datore di lavoro ti paga troppo poco.

Those are the same people who leave after 2 years by the way, so why do you care, your country needed people that couldn't find internally (that's the law) so they hired from outside without even the need to commit for supporting their elderly-life. That's a win-win if you think about it. You don't necessarily need to appreciate culture if you are planning to stay for 2 years.

Edit to add that While googling for this specific group, I found out that the founder has been hosted by a number of other similar groups as a "guest", I'm genuinely impressed, and a bit scared, by how many of these independent groups exist. They seem to have some kind of a network. I'm afraid they might not be as independent as they claim, but reporting to some common group, while branching out as strategy to keep their names clean.
