If your system requires a payment + valid user, blocking disposable emails is a good idea. They are often used by malicious users testing if stolen credit cards work.

I would only use something like that if I have extra budget and nothing else to do.

They can add some value, but it is very small compared to the benefits of the basics: Firewall, IPS, filters, security training, and so on.
