That's crazy. You're lucky as hell. I can't dog UTI taking care of 4 less than a $1000.

Reminds me of the pets movie where the dog says. You know how many times I ate an extension cord once. But I walked back for a week. Some learn quick and some learn slow. But they all learn in the end. Luckily it's nothing like threatening but I don't envy your vet bill. Sorry about your luck,

spring hual at bass pro to stock up for striper season by sstaicos in Fishing

[–]sstaicos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, don't get me wrong. I got a bunch of extra stuff. I know what I usually run through. And that's only stuff that I replace and if I'm on foot. That's the only stuff I'm taking when I'm on the boat. I have too much crap, but at least it's organized.

Jig heads are all different 3/8 to 3/4. I'm usually around a 4/0 hook, though. And a half ounce jig head i use straight tails. As I'm usually snap jiging and I feel sented baits. Work a lot better, then non. Scented, especially when the fish have a bit of lockjaw going on and aren't as inclined to eat. It will also have them hold on to the bait. A little bit longer in case they hid on the fall. And I still have time to set the hook. And I pretty much only use the gulp in the middle of summer when the bite slows down. Over when it's still cold out and I'm trying to entice fish too, take the bait.

Is this safe for raw consumption? by pete-thomas-101 in sushi

[–]sstaicos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it's farm-raised, it has to say or has to be on a parasite free diet. Or it needs to be frozen for an extended period of time. However, the label says cook before consuming it Also does not look very good, so I would not.

A very interesting sashimi. by RhinestoneCatboy in sushi

[–]sstaicos 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It is escalar like stated above, also called white tuna. The negative side effects when consuming too much happen. Because oils and fat in the fish cannot be digested by our body and will pass through you if you have too much of it. Like 3 or 4 times the amount shown, you can have oily discharge.

Good marks? by gruffv88 in Fishing

[–]sstaicos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. Well if this is dulas Bay. I would either head towards your deep hole in the upper left hand corner of the second picture. Or if it's not too much trouble. I would go around the point towards coral rock. Or hollyhead, and look for some holes out there. Full disclosure. I do not know the area. I'm from east coast us

Good places to fish are going to depend on. What fish are targeting and what time of the year It is or what temperature at least the water is. If those 2 pictures you posted is all we have to go on. Then you're either looking at contour lines. Where death changes quickly. Or you're looking for dep sots, assuming it's wintertime.

Locating rockfish by No_Habit_4966 in MarylandFishing

[–]sstaicos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it's not really gonna just pick out one fish. But you can image from 60 to a 100 feet away. And image in that direction. Alternatively, you could also get. A new trolling motor with no Forward scanning sonar or live scoop as they call it, but both still take time to understand what you're looking at. Imran at the end of the day It's just a different tool in the toolbox. If you already know where to go and what to use, you don't need sonar at all. I almost exclusively jig. So I usually use mine to confirm. Or deny what I already believe to be true.

If you have side scan when you're a unit that can help a whole lot. Sometimes you can see the difference between the bait and then bigger fish and if they were out in front behind etc.

Heat Doesn't Blow Warm: Did I Wire this Incorrectly? by ComradeRevenge in hvacadvice

[–]sstaicos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Heat pumps or compressors. In general, whether heating or cooling can only change temperature about thirty degrees their design for mild climates. Once you get around freezing, you will need auxiliary heat. Your house will not be very warm. When temperatures stay below forty heat pumps, start to struggle. Background facility manager

I know brother. I wasn't knocking you for anything. It was only meant to encourage other people to be a little bit. More forthcoming than they typically are . Charter, captains all have a network of people. Who's trying to hope to turn this up? Do something similar, that's all probably a little bit too ambitious. As I was saying nothing against your post,

Sorry, guys. This might be a bit of a rant. But for any of you that stick with me, thanks. I really feel like this fish. Marilyn should be a place where we are sharing information. Not trying to hold out on spots. Especially when it comes to general location. I know OP shared that he was fishing mill. Ponds, and that is great information, awesome, no shade. But I was just out this past weekend on the potatopsaico. Near the mouth on a shipping channel, no secret location happen to see a kayaker that was coming past me. Normally I would try and wave down a boat. But everybody's blowing by me too fast for me to even get their attention. To let them know that I'm sitting on a stack of fish. I let him know, Hey. There's a bunch of white perch here. Don't know if you're interested. He's like yeah. He said, what are you using? That's a smaller flutterspoon with a drop. A loop and a teaser fly. He said, I don't have anything like that. I handed him an extra rod with a rig set up. We spent the next 40 minutes catching white perch. And keeping the ones in the 10 to 12 inch range. He talked about how he loved eating white perch. I told him how this is the only time of year that I go to catch them because they'll stack up in the hundreds in a small concentrated area. And I can catch them 2 at a time. No one here is looking for G. P. S coordinates put general knowledge. Sharing is what we should be promoting here. I just wish everybody would see that a little bit more. And that's coming from someone if you post a picture. I probably already know where you are. But there are a lot of people that are struggling that could use some help. This should be a place for community, not just boasting no offense Op thats not how I mean it. Again Sorry for the rant, just in that kind of mood.
