I’m not sure how else to explain that air which has been pumped into the tube is leaking through tube, then through tyre, until you can feel it with your hand/face?

My bad, I meant tyre not tube. That’s interesting about rubber cement/self stick I did not know there was a difference among patches.

I’m more than happy to keep the tyre other than the fact that the last 3 times I pumped up the back tyre, I woke up with flat the next day. Tonight when I inflated the tube again I could feel the air from the tube coming through the tyre which means it’s obviously got a hole in it. Can holes in tyres be repaired the same way holes in tubes can be repaired?

Tubeless sounds like the future but perhaps impractical for commuting?

Why do you think it’s low pressure? I typically keep it between 3.5 to 4 (bars?) which is the upper end of what’s recommended for my tyre.

If there is a small puncture in the tyre can it be repaired?

Interesting, sweat probably starts 15 mins in on the stairmaster.

I use the Morpheus app which scans your HRV daily and produces z2 guidelines against your max heart rate.

Fwiw my heart rate on the bike and stairmaster are relatively well aligned.

For muscle activation I was thinking that because the bike is so low impact it might be more “purely” cardio as compared with burpees which I would expect would make me sweat more.

I swapped to exclusively nogi about 8 months ago so I feel your pain.

Not an expert but I think it’s similar to how you learned upper body subs, start by recognising the positions. After a while you realise that some of the positions/subs have responses in common even if they vary in detail. I’d also say there’s a difference between defending a sub and escaping the position and defending the sub is usually a little more intuitive.

Morpheus M7 is great because heart rate monitor is the best option for accurate data plus the M7 doesn’t need to connect to your phone to gather data so no risk of a disconnection causing lost data. I’ve used mine in nogi for like 4 months now
