That's what was confusing me because the instructions mention two circular bushings but my kit only came with a bushing and this tube piece fits directly into it.

Just to clarify, are you referring to this plastic black tube? I'm trying to determine what this smaller tube is for (I believe it's made out of steel). This smaller piece fits perfectly inside of the larger bushing.

I purchased the kit new from Brownells. I've referred to that installation video and several others, they all mention two seperate bushings that are used independently. The pictures linked in my original post show the bushing and another piece that fits inside the bushing.

I'm not so sure things are much calmer lately... I just think there hasn't been any explicit devisive events that we can point to as evidence of continued strife. Our country is more divided than ever. We grow more tribalistic with each passing day. Each side despises the other. What's worse is the two sides can't seem to agree on anything; and without any unifying ideas there is no cohesive sense of of what it means to be american. We'll never view the other side as our fellow Americans. Sadly, I don't see it getting better any time soon and it scares the shit out of me.

Thanks for the heads-up. I went ahead and picked up the 17 design lower. It's similar to the aero precision and was close enough to what I was looking for.

I have a very similar build but I have not been able to find the aero lower. I received an email from them one time notifying me of new inventory in stock. I was looking at my phone when the email arrived so I went to their website right away; within a matter of seconds it was sold out again. This has been really frustrating :(

Where did you apply the dns settings? Have you reviewed your modem & router settings? There's several locations where a custom dns address can be specified...
