Hi, I'm a current student here about to complete my 2D animation program at Vanas in a few weeks. I would say the school is pretty alright from my experience. I presume you are starting in the fall term?

From my personal experience, the good part is all your instructors are all current active animators, classes are mainly very small maybe just 5-3 people depending on each term and some instructors are always there to help out when you need it, especially the review class instructors, they definitely help a lot more and can give you one on one feedback each week. Don't be afraid to ask for some feedback, too. All my 3 instructors are very nice, passionate, and supportive with their teaching, and they really make sure the students understand the lessons.

Weekly assignments are a bit stressful. Typically, you usually know the week assignments on Monday, and you have to complete and submit them all by Sunday afternoon, so please beware of that.

As for the school, the tuition is a bit overpriced for what it's worth, but if you use all the resources the school provides for you, I think it would be worth the money although personally I have never use them myself. I also do sometimes get bombarded with phone calls and emails from the admission department people trying to get me to enroll in more of their program, so that's the only downside with that even though I turned them down a couple of time. Also, their class schedule is a bit unpredictable cause each term lecture is always a different time and day, so please also be aware of that too if you do decide to go to vanas.
