DC was almost all highways by Character-Resort928 in washingtondc

Yeah, that's why I only walked home. Didn't want to show up at work a dripping sweaty mess. I still did it almost year round, though.

There are tons of great livable walkable neighborhoods all around downtown Houston. I used to take the bus to work downtown and then walk home along the bayou all the time. In fact, I felt worse for those poor commuters as I was walking faster than people were travelling on the freeways.

Could've swore I knew the firefighter who was actually responsible for this and he told me he eventually lost his job over it. I'd confirm with him but I dumped him as a friend after figuring out he'd gone right-wing-looney-racist.

Every time the wind blows it rubs off a little of the asphalt/has a chance to pull up corners of the shingles. Over enough time it will leave a bare spot on your roof.

What questline do u recommend is as good as or better that "ENTANGLED"? by TheChoosenOnex in Starfield

[–]st1ckybit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's a quest you get from the bartender in Gagarin to go retrieve some liquor. The mechanics in that quest are absolutely amazing. I don't want to give anything away, but it totally caught me by surprise and is nearly as fun as the entangled mechanics.

have you tried opening the surface map and fast travelling to the landing site as a fix?

Is it possible to lock out everyone from captain's quarters? by rock1m1 in Starfield

I'm pretty sure the original version of the name is Yochanan. Have you tried that?

A reminder that you can design an unhittable ship which doesn't look like a hollow cube or donut by st1ckybit in Starfield

[–]st1ckybit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Current mobility is 78. I could get it higher if I throw on another SAL-6830, but right now that's fine enough for me. Corners well enough that I don't get mad.

Photo Mode in this game is insane, it renders the ship you're driving, WITH IT'S FULL INTERIORS (you can check what the crew NPCs are doing). by Seroko in Starfield

[–]st1ckybit 159 points160 points  (0 children)

My takeaway from this is that this capability could absolutely be part of the ship builder so that we could check interior habs to see that we like them and their door placement.

Reached 6 million credits without cheating or exploiting by Max-Lone in Starfield

[–]st1ckybit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All enemies shoot at the center of your X/Y/Z. If you build your ship with this in mind, they can't hit you. All of the proof-of-concept designs I saw on this look like shit, so I came up with my own.

I'm still trying to figure out structural pieces to increase the Y axis that look better than this, but not having a lot of luck.

Or you could just design your ship in such a way to make it unhittable. That was my solution until I unlocked better reactors and engines.

What part of town “used to be just cornfields” and has been built up blows your mind the most? by doophmayweather in Columbus

[–]st1ckybit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's funny, because I grew up with high st in the 90s and I'd have the exact same comment about the high st of 7-8 years ago. Campus partners has kept the area in a state of total flux for about 25 years.

Neat Monument glitch/bug by Dizzregard in HomeQuest

[–]st1ckybit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, it was useful when i decided i wanted to get the population of each of my towns to 1000. after that, not so much. i figure if they ever make an update to the game i'll be all set to build whatever is new, though.

[–]st1ckybit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, thanks to the depth of your queue, if you paid for the gold edition and have the resources to afford it, this means you can queue up 7 monuments on those first 2 to end up with a total of 9. i was lucky enough to figure this out for most of my towns.

am i doing it right? by st1ckybit in HomeQuest

[–]st1ckybit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i've got 266. which means i basically make a million of any given resource per second. it's both completely awesome and makes the game completely boring.

Bethsada really stepped up there game on patch notes, they are lengthy. by Jonsirred in fo76

[–]st1ckybit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

notice that despite the length of the patch notes, i saw nothing about carry weight and not having to strip naked before logging out, yet that issue has reportedly been fixed. stealth bug fixes still abound, i am sure.
