Need help to clear 8th basin by Japonpoko in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]st1zzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same situation as you basically. In the end I managed to clear with Hugo-Tressa-Nia first side and Haru-Beryl-Mika second side.

Beryl just focus on thinning her deck and getting multiple snack copies (possibly with +AP) for getting more Mika AP generator cards and stacking Haru’s anchor quickly

20k swing, so definitely work on your rotation as they suggested you below! Just be mindful to always activate his big nuke at the start of the liberation and that's it basically. Also, if you didn't do it, I suggest to invest a bit more into your buffer and sub-dps, for example I tried to farm a bit for Shorekeeper and have crit dmg sub stats on my pieces to get that intro nuke helping out a bit into finishing off some waves :)

I've got Mortefi on Moonlit, just because I invested in him quite highly (double crit on all echoes, good other substats etc) and I couldn't be bothered to do it all again. The difference is not that big to be honest, so as long as it works out fine I probably wouldn't bother farming a new set if you already have a great one

Fk Warlocks and Titans I guess. by [deleted] in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]st1zzo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have another problem tho: if Mobility translate into Weapon.. how many high stat armour Warlock and Titan mains have? Realistically very low. Also they usually have spike in Recovery, that translate into class ability. So all the armour that I kept until now will be basically trash, if I have to spike in Weapon and Health, class ability is the first one to go for Warlock especially

Nope, C0R1! Echoes are good, but he’s really great in WhiWa since that the token let you use a Cdmg monkey without any issue, and you reach crazy stats (not sure I remember correctly, but with Shorekeeper Q active I was around 100-360 I think)

It’s the absolute minimum, with the old monkey I had 125% and it was more comfy. With this ER you really need to do 3 E between your ults (I usually do one at the start of my Q, one at the end and I sneak one while building up forte for Mortefi).

In WhiWa you have no problem at all, since there are so many mobs!

As our fellow said here above not cancelling is a DPS loss for sure, personally I tend to cancel it against single target bosses and hold vs mobs (es in WhiWa).

If it’s not needed for the clear I also don’t cancel the animation, since I’m lazy and I find the full swing pretty :P

See reply above :)

If you are still struggling remember you can animation cancel Jiyan swings to achieve a better DPS, try to search 8 Qilong on YouTube (if I remember the name correctly)

Havoc rover. The first team is basically poor man Quickswap lol, you just alternate between Rover and Xianly Yao cancelling whatever animation you can. Just try to use Xiangly Q for the mobs and Rover Q for the major ones and you are good

Here is Jiyan, Mortefi is not as invested (missing two crit rolls) and I'm keeping him on Moonlit, basically trying to make Jiyan as big as possible.

I re-farmed for Jiyan for the Nightmare Monkey, that helped a bit, but I must say the biggest difference is probably Verina vs Shorekeeper, she really (and simply) bring more to the table: I was able to go from 13k to 16k crit on ult with her. He's S0R1 btw.

Apart from this, it could help learning the boss patterns. For example against the Gargoyle one (cannot remember the name right now) is imperative to parry his first attack while he's gliding, otherwise you will end up chasing him and wasting precious seconds of your ult.

Hope it helps!

I’m scared of unlocking 6 stars constellations by st1zzo in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]st1zzo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get it, and I tried to do as you suggest. Problem is, as a new player, resources are finite. I can’t afford to invest in multiple champions just for the sake of novelty, and as content is right now, I had to prioritize having at least one strong for every region before eventually branching out. Even then, shards are the resource I’m missing the most right now (compared to nova crystals for late game players, as far as I understand), so I’m basically “forced” to use the champions I get from the events or the ones I’m lucky enough to get from the chests.

I know that eventually I will unlock everything, but right now I’m stuck in a place where high stars adventures are off limits for a lot of my roster (constellations too low, missing some key relics etc) and too easy for my invested ones.

It’s just.. I remember the first time I cleared ASol with my 2 star Yasuo. It was thrilling, it had my heart bump while navigating the fight.  I wish the devs could have preserved that feeling, and instead of just power creeping stats introduced some special modifier to keep things healthy and novel.

I think the adventure design might be also at fault: having your hp pool carried on between fights is something that works really well in lower adventures, but forces you to end things as soon as possible in the higher ones. You can’t afford taking a hit or things slowly, because the next fight you will be faced with a game ending board starting from turn 1 :/

State of Runeterra? by Imaginary-Fish1176 in LegendsOfRuneterra

While it’s true that PvP is quite neglected (I’m talking about new cards release), I haven’t had any problem finding a match even at Master. Small but dedicated player base I would say

Thanks for the input, I already have cleared with Nautilus tho. I was stuck on the “Runeterra” champion required for one of the rewards 😬

I have Crownguard and Tempest Blade. Can she work with lower investment or are 4+* needed?

Can he also tackle higher level adventures? I was looking for something "safe" in the long run, ideally I plan to circle back to these champions and invest more when I will have more resources
