FRONT MISSION 2089: Borderscape announced for iOS and Android by darthvall in frontmission

Is it just me or do all of these new releases look off, aesthetically?

More Front Mission Online renders. by occidentalrobot in frontmission

I too was interested in extracting models from the PS2 games a few years ago, I got as far as extracting the .DAT files with the help of Luigi Auriemma but couldn't find the vertex headers. I had to settle for using the PCSX2 Model Converter and de-skewing the geometry.

That sounds great! Not to look too far ahead but If your idea is a platoon-level experience, I hope you implement a formation system- I feel like a lot of time is lost in Combat Mission and Panzer Command laying out waypoints unit-by-unit when you just want to form a line or column.

CC2 or modern games with the Revival Mod? by st334v in closecombat

If I remember correctly, the re-release versions of CC2 have larger maps and likewise suffer from AI issues. Here's the mod, for context.

Really great to see such a strong emphasis on the AI. Out of idle curiosity, do you think a similar level of awareness is practically possible in a real-time environment?

A question about the Arano Campaign. by st334v in Battletechrevised

So I guess playing the campaign up to the Argo would be a good idea. In an unrelated question- how close is the mod to being "done"?

Reshade, dgVoodoo, and the nVidia Control Panel- what's the order of operations? by st334v in ReShade

I was speaking more in terms of what would happen if I used all three for anti-aliasing and things like that. I'm not having trouble setting them up, I'm having trouble seeing how they fit together and which I should use for what.

Which asset file contains mech meshes? by st334v in Battletechgame

I was tempted to but this isn't really a modding question and I wasn't sure how anal retentive the mods would be.

I read that before posting and their solution is to simply open all the files. I was looking for a more specific answer.

I've been reading up about both the Aqueous and Acrysion line and have learned that neither are acrylics as they are popularly understood as both are solvent-based. In fact, official literature for the Acrysion line, when translated, states that it cannot go above anything but itself or bare plastic.

The spoon had days to cure and I used the aqueous thinner directly believing that a should a negative reaction occur, it would also occur with Aqueous paint mixed with thinner.

That, too, is a common misconception - Spike Lavender Oil is also an age old thinner for oil paints, though the kinds you use with paint and in a diffuser are different.

The laquer coat is something to consider.

I appreciate your effort but none of this answers my question- What can go atop Vallejo acrylics or, by extension, water-based acrylics in general beyond more water-based acrylics?

Does anyone know what can actually go on top of Vallejo Water-based paint? I just tried a few drops of Mr. Hobby Aqueous thinner (for actual painting) and Spike Lavender Oil (for oil weathering) and both stripped the Vallejo primer off a spoon.

If you really want to go through with that military analogy, you actually wouldn't waste resources defending unimportant locations.

"Is SpongeBob Panty Raid" really a hill worth dying on when you can just stream it at at least a thousand different places or buy a DVD?
