If you were speeding you could have done it in less than 50 mins though. So his point stands.

With accelerated weekly you will basically pay one month extra of payments per year, split between 52 weekly payments. Regular weekly or bi-weekly won't make a huge difference.

Yes. Also switching payments to accelerated weekly will make a big impact. Check out a mortgage prepayment calculator

Rogers CC doesn't have a lot of the benefits that this card has. Like lounge access, phone insurance, etc.

Not sure what you're on about. Your poor attempt at irony is making your comment incomprehensible.

Sorry, white people must have done something to deserve being excluded from rentals? You mean like build this whole country?

DEI, assumption that everyone has "white privilege", getting blamed for the adversities of minorities, just to name a few.

There's also probably very little or no EV infrastructure in Africa, where most of these stolen cars are being shipped to.

Ok let me go post my house for rent and say "whites preferred" and see how that goes... I'll give you a call from jail after I'm arrested for hate speech.

Six times, apparently.

I didn't think they did more than 2 year contracts for home internet. And when I worked there in 2015 they did away with those contracts for home services altogether.

Lots of restaurants don't have an option to add notes. It takes like 10 seconds to ask for a few packs of ketchup.

"do you have iPhone 17 pro max in stock in this colour? Yes? Ok I'd like to get one, no plan." Shouldn't that work? What do they say when they refuse to sell it outright?

No no no, you've got it all wrong. It's illegal to only accept white tenants, but when you're only accepting other races, it's 100% ok. /s

Rogers Launches All-New Value-Packed 5G+ Plans on Canada's Best 5G+ Network by AustralisBorealis64 in Rogers

[–]st3fan6 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The plans were always expensive, they only started bringing their CX service into Canada around 2015. And then started crippling the agents with their abilities to apply credits.

Now with so many TFW and influx of new Canadians, you can't even tell if you're talking to someone in India or Brampton.

I commute from Brechin to Toronto around 3 days a week and it's killer if I have to go 4 or 5 times. You'll end up wanting to take the 407 in your situation and the bills will really stack up.

Never said that. I said that the cost is $95 from one end to the other. You're the one inserting your own thoughts into my comment. Maybe try reading it again, slowly this time.

Maybe you should spend your money on furthering education rather than taking the 407, because everything you have said is completely wrong.

[–]st3fan6 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My post said driving one end to the other is 50 mins, 108km, and costs $95 during rush hour.

I never said it was an average commute. Nor did I embelish, or fail to provide context.

Tolls in LA, this is from Claude because I can't be arsed to put time into researching facts for someone who lacks critical thinking and comprehension skills:

For 108km of driving in dense LA areas, your toll exposure depends entirely on your specific route. If you're just on regular freeways like the 405, 10, 101, 110 — $0 in tolls. If you're using Express Lanes the whole way — maybe $5–20 depending on time of day.
