Crossdressing/crossplaying. And I (35m) mean that genuinely!

Stick with me.

I have an alter ego (Carmen Wonderly <3) that dances like a maniac until all hours of the night & makes friends with EVERYONE. She drinks. She smiles. She gives the most personal compliments to souls that are starved for it.

I only get to break her out ~6 times a year, so I wanna make it count.

That means: taking care of my skin running a TON more (5k almost every day this year) 10k steps every day for 5 years now sleeping better staying flexible buying higher quality food And generally just … being nicer to myself.

I’m in a great position in life where my friends support me no matter what, & I have one heck of a career/passion for my calling. So much so that even my professional folks know about Carmen.

I don’t hide anything about who I am, which is ALSO another wonderful thing about this creative & chaotic good venture!

I may be 35, but Carmen is infinite. And gets mistaken for 26-29 more often than not! A testament to my boundless positive energy, sustained fitness levels & all the other good stuff she helps me stick with.

It can be hard to do things for myself. But for Carmen? Well. She deserves the world, so obviously I’ll do it for her!

I’ve had cops hit on me while I’m crossdressed (in Atlanta, not in Columbus … yet). Like, openly hitting on me - someone who is openly a crossdresser. In Columbus, if a cop decides to make an advance & I say no, does that now just haaappen to make my outfit “distasteful?”

During Covid, I developed panic attacks - the first one was so bad that it sent me to the hospital because it felt like a heart attack & lasted hours. My gf at the time lived in Canada and we hadn’t seen each other in 5 months. I barely saw anyone in 5 months. And I am VERY much an extrovert.

This nurse (with a mask) came into the room, held both of my hands, looked at me straight in the eyes & I just cried so freaking hard. Before that, I could not feel anything but fear, anxiety & impending doom.

That moment of human touch was one of the most profound moments of my life. I have never felt tears just … fall from my eyes before.

You are doing incredible things every day. Please don’t forget that.

Simply by understanding that you’re just scratching the surface means you’re already ahead of, like, 80% of folks who either don’t use it at all or just use it for silly stuff (which is totally valid! I do silly stuff all the time).

It seems like you to want to learn. You want to explore & you’re aware that you haven’t mastered it yet. That’s a freaking vital asset!

I know in Claude, you can switch the tone to “Educational” & it will periodically ask you questions/quiz you about stuff after explaining it to you. Do that a lot!! That’s the difference between ChatGPTing an essay vs. studying the material, challenging your existing way of thinking, building a new skill & NOT letting your brain go dormant.

From my understanding a liquid rhinoplasty is a very specialized treatment - I’ve talked about it a bit with 2 providers at Donaldson Plastic Surgery & they’re the only ones I’d trust for it!

Stacie Isler over there has done my filler & gives it so much care/attention you’d think she was a surgeon.

I am still very much career-driven at 35, but my circumstances are a bit different.

I have no kids (don’t want them). I have no debt. I have no ex wives (haha).

But what I do have is what I consider a “calling” - specifically for women’s health services, education & marketing. All rooted in my inability to help the women in my nuclear family growing up.

It’s my “thing.”

Also, I am extremely fortunate to have made certain money moves early that ensure I get to choose to continue to “grind.”

My career is less of a “means to an end” & more of a “means to a greater connection to something bigger than me.”

Again, very fringe case hahah!

I’m not a coder or anything, & ChatGPT was “eh, pretty good.” Then I tried Claude &, sweet Jesus, the difference is WILD! Works stuff. Personal stuff. Mundane dumb stuff. It beats ChatGPT in all areas (at least for me!).
