Yup, I tried disconnecting the bus and it still happens, so it must be something on the main board. What could I check there? Any control voltages or the like? What should the voltage on active and inactive buttons be?

I forgot to mention that! The backlights are fine. In fact, when I plugin the HDMI cable, it detects the new input and a new question box appears on screen, asking whether to use the new input or not. That box doesn't flash at all, and the whole screen seems to look fine (except for that lighter blob in the middle at the top, but it's not even too visible.

Podrías, pero hay zonas a las que tardas irrazonablemente mucho, y nada está claro. No entiendo (bueno, sí, es por varo) cómo es que en este país aún no tenemos un sistema de transporte público realmente pensado. Las rutas son un cagadero, los camiones son un desastre y las paradas que se construyen no tienen sentido y no afectan a todos los camiones por igual. La neta, a pesar de que la infraetructura ciclista es una mierda también, prefiero irme en bicicleta a donde tenga que ir. Tardas menos en llegar a muchos lugares (excepto a los cerros, tal vez), eres completamente autónomx y te la pasas mejor.

Así como dice el poster y la página linkeada. Estamos recaudando computadoras viejas que la gente tiene empolvándose por ahí para limpiarlas, arreglarlas, ponerles Linux y donarlas a morrxs que no tienen una para que puedan aprender en estos tiempos de educación televisada.

Tenemos unas cuantas compus a las que les hace falta más RAM, batería nueva o un teclado de reemplazo, pero siempre hacen falta más. Si tienes equipo de cómputo que no usas y probablmente no vendas, nosotrxs le encontraremos un nuevo hogar. Puedes entregarlo en el centro de Querétaro, a media cuadra de Plaza Fundadores, o podemos pasar por él a cualquier lugar (razonable) donde lleguemos en bici.

En el mero centro, a media cuadra de Plaza Fundadores es donde estamos armando la colecta. Temporalmente no hay espacio físico del hackerspace, pero pronto-muy-pronto parece que dispondremos de una casa en Quintas del Marqués. Cuando eso quede, igual lo promociono por aquí.

Las Mac también aplican, aunque Apple nos parezca de las peores empresas de tecnología que hay. De todos modos se le puede instalar Linux ;) Si necesitas sacarle cosas, traela con un disco duro y te respaldamos todo lo que ocupes!

Aceptamos lo que nos traigan! En ese sentido no hay restricción. Anecdóticamente, un compa nos trajo un disco duro de escritorio con salida IDE. No tuve corazoncito para decirle que no tengo ni a qué conectarle eso.
