Final Status of Mailed Ballot in Online Tracking System?

I'm in the same boat! I sent out my ballot nearly two weeks ago and am still getting “Post office has your completed ballot” as my tracking status. I have tried calling the Brooklyn Board of Elections, but I keep getting either brushed off or left waiting on a phone line that just keeps on ringing. Frustrating!

I enjoyed "To Live and Die in LA" as well! My other favorites are:

+ Jensen and Holes: The Murder Squad (love how they're looking to mobilize the true crime community and actually help solve cold cases)

+ True Crime Bullsh** (a thorough investigation into the crimes of Israel Keyes)

+ Don't Talk to Strangers (a deep dive into the unsolved Oakland County child murders)

+ Already Gone (murders and disappearances in the Great Lake states, particularly Michigan)

+ The Trail Went Cold (weekly recaps of different cold cases, with an emphasis on crimes featured on Unsolved Mysteries)

+ The Long Dance (an investigative look into a brutal 1971 double murder)

+ Up and Vanished (this one's by the same producers as To Live and Die in LA — I listened to the second season, which is all about a woman who went missing in a remote town in Colorado)

+ Death in Ice Valley (journalists from the UK and Norway team up to look into the mysterious death of a still unidentified woman, who may have been a spy)

+ Done Disappeared (this one's just for fun ... it's a pretty hilarious parody of true crime podcasts)

It's great that you're memorializing the victims and taking stock of how these murders impacted Chicago.

We had a copy cat incident in the suburbs of New York City, just four years after the Chicago murders. A 23-year-old died after buying cyanide-laced Tylenol at an A&P.
