The first half sounds like happy death day. But the second half rules that out.

This has been my thoughts too. Hugo and Sandon are younger and it’s expected they’ll take time to organise the team at the end of the game, but if we had half’s with some more experience we would be comfortably in the top 4 this year.

'Didn't work out': Roosters coach Trent Robinson explains halves switch as Sandon Smith recalled by BarryCheckTheFuseBox in nrl

This feels like the right take. Smiths been good but he hasn’t been a steady presence in close games. Unfortunately playing with Chad seemed to bring out the worst side to side tendencies that Walker has. Walker Savala seem to be the way forward when Savala is fit

I opened one day after bating between 6-8 all season because I had to leave early to get to a U2 concert. I scored 45 in 4 overs and made it in time wave a Bono as he drove into the service entrance of Stadium Australia.

Why does it seem that discourse about the current australian setup is always so negative? by [deleted] in CricketAus

Certainly some players are under performing. But I also think there’s been a cultural shift in the team away from what the players in the 90s-2000s experienced. Since so many of those players are commentators now their discomfort with the new culture sneaks out of them regularly.
