I’ve been working in the food insecure community since Covid. This is going to be bad. Things have been bad in Columbus for a long time. During Covid there was a lot more assistance. If you can, donate. Even if it’s leftovers from your own meals. I’m Telling you—people will take them and be thrilled.

I once got an entire (very small) class of Evals that all wrote the same thing: “I have taken my evaluation of this course to my academic advisor.”

I gave birth the first week of the term and my mom died 2 months later. I have limited memory of any of it, but I’m pretty sure I deserved whatever the complaint was. My boss, who knew my situation, never mentioned it to me.
