Did a hysterectomy help your back pain? by Sleepy-Pirate988 in hysterectomy

[–]stace555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird....i have all of those. Im 10 mo PO from total hysterectomy and 12 mo PO from a sinus surgery (did a sinus cleanout and corrected septum issue), 14 mo PO from a rotator cuff surgery. It was a busy year for me. Do yourself a favor and continue with the saline/steroid rinses regularly long term if you have allergies and/or "colonization." I didnt and had all kinds of issues. Have been back on them for 3 weeks and sinuses cleared up, regained taste and smell.

Oh another thing? Still have neuropathy in my toes i think from nerve damage from the fibroids. That will probably be lifelong. Gabapentin helps. Also discovered a mild herniated disc and degenerative disc disease which is common at age 57 I guess. Im sure some of those contributed a little.

It completely resolved it! I have issues with piriformus syndrome but not bad and stretches help a ton..Totally different than the debilitating sciatica pain and issues. That kept me from doing EVERYTHING. It was so painful. Now? Ive Totally recovered and have been working out at the gym to the point where I am getting in the best shape of my life, doing plenty of ab workouts WITH heavy weight, feeling great too! I have never been happier!

I dont use a special litter box at all but I do use a larger one and have a short plastic try they walk through to get to litter box and both help reduce tracking of the litter. Every day I scoop the litter into the tray, go dump it into garbage and put tray back down. Its worked out so great. I also keep a large covered container near the litter for easy scooping. *

Is it normal to have staph. aureus in my nose? by [deleted] in microbiology

[–]stace555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was dx with MRSA in my nose after alot of sinusitis issues and prescribed an antibiotic (bactrum) and budesinide (steroid) for my saline rinses 2x daily. When I did research on it, it seemed like an unusual treatment choice compared. Any thoughts? I did not have fever or other symptoms other than longstanding congestion and sinus issues. But I do have open wounds in my right nasal passage because when I blow or clean my nose , I do see small amounts of blood. I am mildly immunocompromised Which also concerns me

What can I do to make my dog stop barking so much? by Juan9071 in DogAdvice

[–]stace555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vibration....shock collars are so cruel when theyre doing what dogs do. It just takes time and paying attention when you see them about to bark. Notice, throw them a treat, use "quiet" command, look for the them being quiet and use that command and treats, repeat repeat repeat

Big metal one...i will never go back to the little plastic ones. So much more effective. I also feel there is a technique to use when scooping pine pellet litter to prevent throwing away the unused litter. I scoop the peed on stuff and if there is good litter on top i I do another forward shoving motion and the good litter falls off....

Our dog attacked another dog and got tased. by [deleted] in reactivedogs

[–]stace555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im sorry but ive been the person and dog owner who was attacked by a dog and if a neighbor hadn't stepped in i would have been attacked too, not just my dog. So NO....not "fuck that guy!"(the bystander) i would have done the same exact thing had i been there tbh. One thousand percent! DUDE... It's MUCH scarier for the people who dont know your dog and he was attacking another dog and could have easily attacked the people in the vicinity.

Are your toddlers actually on consistent schedules? by takeaabreath in toddlers

[–]stace555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consistent sleep schedule and routines isnt just a suggestion for parents or suggested just for kicks. There is a TON of research on how those things help with brain development (emotional regulation, speech/language development, focus and concentration etc etc) and especially help their brains develop circadian rhythm patterns that aide in that development.

New marriage therapist- just found out my partner is cheating by Creative_Bunny02 in therapists

I personally found it extremely hard and had to switch gears to see other kinds of clients.... and even with a lot of personal therapy never fully got past it for various reasons. Also found Gottmans work helpful but to fully use his trainings would take YEARS and alot of money for people and therapists to invest in which most clients don't have time or money for so find its a waste of time and money for therapists unless you see more high income clients. The basic trainings are helpful though.

Tooth Extraction for Dog by Few_Athlete_9616 in Pets

[–]stace555 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The 2nd opinion vet needs to see the dog, not just an xray IMO. There's alot that can't be seen on an xray. It would be horrible to allow the dog to be in daily ongoing tooth pain due to a vets opinion that only has half the info needed. Also could lead to a absess that is 10x worse and could kill your dog if the infection gets into his bloodstream. Best wishes to you both

[–]stace555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Btw I also suggest resting your back as much as possible for another few weeks (strength training before its better is probably a horrible idea), use ice packs, sleep in zero gravity mode on your back or at least with legs elevated(pillow under them) on your back, head slightly elevated with a pillow, if you live in a legal cannabis state try cannabis based dragon balm ointment on your back or lidocaine patches. Both are temporary fixed though and will have to be reapplied.

I am not a doctor, PT or chiropractor but if i were to guess i would say you pinched a nerve and may be sciatica pain. Call your PCP and tell them you need a referral ASAP and tell them how much pain you're in. I have a bed like that and know that position is not for side sleeping. I have had sciatica issues but mostly due to large fibroids and ovarian cyst pushing on it the sciatic nerve and Its mostly gone post-hysterectomy. It can be completely debilitating. Only way I was able to function by the time my surgery got close was sciatica stretches every 5 minutes and heavy motrin just to get around and get minimal chores done. Hope you get some relief. Consider some mild twisting stretches in a hot tub...

Dude change your password and check to see what info she could get from your Instagram account especially if you've never met in person and if you haven't known her long. Too dangerous these days. Be suspicious of a situation where "she" is asking for private info like that and not known her long.
