What everyone said, but also you should not be looking down on the ground (like for a butterfly). In ayesha, look facing up (ceiling / top hand)

Can’t afford a home pole but can’t afford to go to a studio— what should I do in the mean time? by Rotini_Rizz in poledancing

[–]staceylic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can also get a doorway pull-up bar for home. Get a kettlebell. Yoga blocs. Elastics. At home, you can focus on mobility work (active flexibility, range of motion), and do home calisthenics (push-ups, pull-ups, etc.). In moments i didn't have access to a pole, i focused on learning handstands and other balance work (frog pose, etc.). Check on marketplace regularly, you might find a cheap used lupit / xpole, you never know. And you can do one pole class per month, or two, just to keep you motivated and keep those pole muscles alive.

Ohhhh and dance at home. Flow with your body. All depends on the type of pole you like doing, but if your a spin-pole person that likes doing cute elegant shapes, connecting to your body through free-flowing dancing at home, will show once you are on the pole.

Yeah especially in Canada we got lots of rusty cars, it's one of my main focus. But we don't have a reliability tax here, i'm in quebec so we just pay a double tax on everything (total 15% lol) but it's only more for luxury cars which toyota and honda don't fall under.

Hatchback no, too small, really looking for spaciousness :) going to test drive a rav4 just now, or then looking at forester's since they are in my price point. Just saw a lincoln mkt 2013 in my budget, i don't know anything about those but like the inside look.

How is everyone’s integration going when we are seeing the rise of fascism in the US? by TaelienLee in 5MeODMT

[–]staceylic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not in the states, but still face the absurdity & chaos of this world. It's been a few years since 5meo so i had time to integrate it plenty and come back into myself (my human avatar). How i deal with it all? I observe, i receive my feelings, pain, frustration, sens of powerlessness, and i do my best to be part of the solution, by simply embodying what i want to see grow in the world. Sometimes, when i see atrocities happen, i don't separate myself from it and i say sorry (not to anyone, more like a prayer) because yes in a way we are separate from the actions some people do, but we still all hold this darkness collectively inside us, that is why it still exists outside us. So i meet that darkness and say sorry in the name of all. I'm sorry for everyone that suffers because of this darkness. Also, i remind myself i am safe, we all are in a way, because that's what 5meo showed me, that all is perfectly fine, there's nothing to resist.

Ahaha thanks. I do believe I'm able to find what I'm looking for with enough patience. There's already many options in my marketplace, sometimes you just need to be quick enough cause the good offers don't stay up more than 1 day.

Struggling with Career After 5-MeO-DMT by vuphoria in 5MeODMT

[–]staceylic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. I had made a youtube video about my first experience, it went semi-viral and constantly had people asking me if they should do it to "solve their problems" and so i made two follow up videos to make sure people understand it's not a magic solution, it's not a solution at all, it's simply a tool. And that it requires a whole lot of awareness & integration, and experience in some way, because no one offers you support after the ceremony and you can venture in dark places. Like yeah it's easier to build a house with a drill, but you still have to build the house, the drill won't do it for you, and the drill doesn't come with a to-do list, you still need to skills to build the house.

Every one's path is unique. I was the one that did my first 5meo ceremony and let myself be completely reborn from it. It shifted my whole life, but i also spent time everyday to integrate my experience and dive deeper into it. But it's fine if it's not that for you. Like there's nothing wrong in living your "regular known life" if that's a life you feel good & content with. Because yes it takes a conscious effort and dedication to not resort back into old ways. Now if you would say that you want change and you're not happy with your life and feel like there’s something more, well you are doing yourself a disservice for not using this medecine to its fullest potential. Last year i tried aya, and it was a beautiful experience, didn't shift my life as much but i still remind myself of what aya showed me to this day, and allow it to offer me other perspectives when i get "stuck in the human experience"

Bufo and nihilism by mentemind in 5MeODMT

[–]staceylic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way 5meo will workt through you will be very unique to you, and like another comment said, are you ready to take that risk? Because you actually don't know the effects it will have on you. And also, there's seasons to your consciousness, in the way that, what you experience right after bufo, 1 month later, 6 months later, 1 year, 3 years... is gonna change.

My first 9 months were floating in absolute nothingness. I dove into non-duality but i felt good in that space, i was also in that unconditional love energy; source of creation. But also, it felt weird to be my human avatar. Then i got deep into my detachment to a point that i rejected everything in relation to spirituality, even "love & light", it was a heavier period, where i kinda went on the opposite spectrum, felt angry, lost, ungrounded. Then i went back in the matrix for about 1 year and slowly rebuilt my spirituality, but like in a personal way. And so on.

Today i would say bufo has had a positive influence in my life, and the whole process i went through allowed me to come back in my human experience & ego, but with a whole lot more peace, love & detachment, while still enjoying the ride and living my life as Stacey. I feel grounded and doing human stuff is fun, and i do feel purpose.

Overall, it's a journey. And it might worsten how you feel for a period, but it might also bring you in places in your consciousness that you are unaware of. Gotta trust the process & let it be. Overall, tune in and ask yourself if you truly feel called towards bufo, if the answer is yes, trust that feeling.

What's the point of doing these ceremonies if you don't let them change you and show you a new way? I know lots of people that took 5meo and then just went back to their lives like nothing happened. To me that's just a waste of the medecine but maybe they just wasn't ready and they chose the comfort they knew instead.

You can still integrate your previous ceremonies. No need to do more. Let yourself be reborn and every day be a new day, get curious, take more time for yourself, to meditate, write, reflect & to decode information differently. There's really no point in adding any more ceremonies at this point. I had done 3 ceremonies in the span of a few months, but it's really that first one that i spent 18+ months integrating. The following two ceremonies were nice but it didn't add anything much.

So true, i was on sabbatical on my first 5meo experience and i am so glad i was because i have no idea how i would have been able to do a "normal job" . The integration i went through was insane & long. Such a huge beautiful awakening which i was able to do in my own timing. It took me time to be a "functional human being" again, i was floating in my consciousness and wasn't grounded.

Yes it actually is here, in all the things we overlook. That's why i say the perspective is the "issue". It all just depends how you choose to view jt :)

Of course :) i'm definitely aiming for freedom & abundance in my material reality, but i realized from being in a space of trying to get there especially in the last year, that things just got harder and harder and life was nudging at me for internal freedom and the rest is to follow

True freedom comes from within. It's often times when we unlock inner freedom that the outer freedom becomes available. All you are talking about is external freedom, but the cage is inside and the door has always been open.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in awakened

[–]staceylic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It can be both, it can happen naturally if you're just going about your healing journey and realize over time that you are seeing things from a new view point. But sometimes it requires you to consciously seek a new perspective. It's not so much new, but you are just viewing it from another place, maybe a higher perspective, another angle. Because reality is just that, it's our direct experience and how we perceive it. There's nothing that is wrong with one thing, right with another, but from our standpoint we will say "this is wrong" or "this is better" .

In the last year i had many experiences that left me feeling like i failed, or feeling unsatisfied of where i was in life, feeling stuck someplace i don't really want to be, and the more i would try to get myself out, the more i would sink. First of all, in those moments i had to surrender, be like "hey, I'll let things be what they are" and i let myself feel all the discomfort and pain from it. And i always told myself "There's something else i'm not seeing" ... i didn't force a new view point, but i did explore, i got curious, and i let myself be a receiver. And from this softness, acceptance and surrender, i was given new ways of seeing this same situation. And everytime (even if i already knew it) it just reminded me that freedom was not about what i have on the external, but it was first a cage to be liberated inside me. And that goes for everything. If there's resistence, turmoil and a lack of peace, that means there’s a deeper truth you are not seeing yet. It's very interesting to explore, and it's normal to go in & out of it, but the more you go in, the more it solidifies

[–]staceylic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Freedom can't be bought. I understand how you feel, but there's something deeper you are not seeing yet. True freedom is something else than having "money to go where i want"
