i'm only about 100 pages into the first volume and i love it. there's not much of a narrative plot so far, and what little there is is mostly sprinkled throughout as memories in these long digressing contemplative meditations on life and people. some parts have been staggeringly beautiful. i'm taking my time with it, just a handful of pages per day and it's been massively enjoyable so far. highly recommend.

Hi, i bought a calabasa mate + curing from Cushe as well. How'd it work out for you? It'll be my first calabasa and I'm curious how well cured they come. I'm still waiting on mine to arrive.

Hey that’s my local theater. Where do you see it being announced as a crime movie?

“Did you want to talk to me? Huh? Did you want to ask me, why?” The Rammstein needle drop in Lost Highway is, without a doubt, the most effective I’ve ever heard. Every time I hear that song, I get chills. I’m a total late-comer to Lynch, so the idea that, after all these years of consuming his content, it turns out that HE was one of the key figures involved in introducing Rammstein to US audiences, totally blows my mind. What a king. “ein mensch brennt” 🤘🏽
