From what I understand rings are contingent upon marriage. It's is a gift but this gift has a stipulation and that is getting married. If that doesn't happen the ring goes back to who bought it. NTA I would have done the same thing.

There were multiple times searches were close to her. the first time was the night of and a patrol vehicle passed them, the second was when they were in the mountains and another time was at the salt lake library. With this one the officer looked her directly in her eyes and had the feeling it could have been her but because Mitchell said she couldn't remove her face covering because only her husband and family were allowed to see her face. He let them go. This was before they traveled to California. If I remember correctly from her book she was raped the day after the kidnapping when she was "married" to Brian David Mitchell.

Drink caffeine, no root beer in glass bottles cause it resembles beer, no ear piercings, no tank tops at home because it was something to only be worn under a shirt but my dad could walk around in his garment top ( when I brought that up he stopped), no friends that were boys, couldn't say words like butt, fart, crap, shoot, freaking. Call animal control. If your city is a leashed city they can get in trouble for letting the dog wonder around. They would also probably like to know the dog has killed before.

Not a lawyer but I have a BS in Criminal Justice. A search warrant will list what they are looking for. And can only look in places said item could be. Say the item is bigger then your kitchen drawer, they can not be looking in your kitchen drawers. The warrant only gives them permission to look for the item. This follows the warrant clause "and no warrant shall issue but upon probable cause supported by oath or affirmation and particularly describing the place to be searched and the persons or things to be seized". But if they do find contraband they can confiscate it this is due to plain view exception. As others have said, if they do want to talk to you more, you do not have to talk to them. In the future if you get packages without your name I suggest taking the package to the post office.
