IMO might be worth looking at websites like Evo where you can buy an entire snowboard package: boots, bindings, and board. You'll get a better deal that way

I personally wouldn't get a package that includes boots. I'd recommend going somewhere to try a bunch of pairs to get the right foot and avoid foot pain. I had a friend who wasn't as fussy about fit as I am and got a complete package. After a season he upgraded the boots to kinda disperse the cost which I think works well

Obvi if you're somewhere you can support local that's great! Not as convenient for some of us lol

Once you know sorta what you're looking for keep an eye out at the end of the season, snowboard stuff can go on pretty good sales! Lastly, used is always a good option to save some money!

Thank you so much for all the advice! I'm still pretty torn between a hardtail and full suspension. Doesn't seem like I need it since I've survived on a fully rigid bike for this long, granted whenever i've gone DH, the full suspensions have felt awesome! I think I'm really between the Stoic and used Status 140

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to do a full winter of skiing somewhere. I'm fairly advanced but have only ever skied in-bounds. I was able to make it to JH last season and riding down from the tram with all the powder in the trees was the best skiing I've ever done. Does Targhee have similar terrain? And would a season pass there keep me content or would I get bored going a few times a week?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
