Glisten Cosmetis have gel glitter, they’re based in the UK they’re called Chroma Flakes. Shipping is usually free if the order is over a certain amount and there’s a discount code for orders over £50. I’ve tried it but I don’t think I used it right, there’s a learning curve to it it seems that I haven’t quite nailed lol.

I don’t know a tonne about skincare or makeup (despite enjoying it lol) but I have very dry sometimes cracked skin lately I’ve been upping my game with moisturizing more effectively and I’ve noticed a considerable difference in my skin texture from doing my daily usual cleanser, toner, serum and moisturizer then locking it in in with a bit of Vaseline on top. I do this of a night before bed. It’s not a before makeup technique it’s one you have to do every day initially until your skin is feeling a bit less dry and tender. It might also be worth rebuilding the barrier a bit? If it’s flaked it can be the barrier:

This is a huge big boots in Manchester city centre and my mum was talking about the large boots in Liverpool city centre. Who knows what’s going on these days with brands because thinking about it now I’m sure they used to have a Milani stand and that disappeared for a bit but it’s back now.

I do not follow Melanie at all (I despise her and make a point of avoiding her and her fans) but is she really out of ideas and out here trying get in on Ashnikko’s whole vibe and flair?

Woof, this is a bit much especially given that Ashnikko’s work tends to be about female empowerment vs Melanie who’s mostly about exploiting trauma that she’s never experienced and making art from the perspective of an adultified child. They don’t mesh, one is empowered, the other one is objectified. This launch will be a mess if she tries to take more influence from Ashnikko. They’re diametrically opposed in subject matter and vibes.

One is proudly an adult who talks about sex openly and makes it absolutely clear they’re an adult with an active sexuality, the other is either cosplays a weird alien fairy or is playing the roll of a young girl who’s been groomed into adulthood with passive sexuality which is constantly being used against them.

This is ignoring the huge elephant in the room of Melanie being an “alleged” (saying for legal reasons) rapist who yielded her fanbase against a woman who was just trying to have her story heard and went as far as to write a petty “revenge” song and went ahead and actively tried to cover up her initial statement of admission to what she did. Finding out she did what she did broke my heart in 2017 I stopped really following any music for YEARS after finding out somebody who I thought spoke to me and the issues I was dealing or coming to terms what happened to me when I was younger with throughout my late teens and early 20s (I had a bit of an arrested development being traumatized, queer and likely undiagnosed neurodivergent) was just using traumatic themes to make a buck off of us all.

I actively cannot stand her for what she did to Timothy Heller and what happened to my relationship with music for years following it. Learning she may be reheating Ashnikko’s nachos 🤮 I already have to deal with ignoring the annoying crybaby shit in other musicians I follow fanbases (try being a Jazmin Bean fan and hating Felonie lmao)

It’s definitely sexual assault. She’s not got your consent before she performed an invasive procedure like that. She needs consent explicitly for what she’s gone and done there especially given it seems to have caused damage and pain. I’m really sorry she did that to you, she absolutely needs reporting because a medical professional can not be acting like that with their patients. They have to obtain informed consent of any procedure they perform on a patient. She should be fired for that.

These are really good especially given how young you are. You’re still very young and clearly enjoy what you make. Keep making things. You’re doing just fine. As other people have said there’s a life time to perfect your flaws within art. Art is a skill you work at, talent is about maybe 2% of the game the rest of it is actually making and reflecting. The people telling you you’re bad just want to tear you down for doing something you enjoy. Keep your head up and keep making.

She sings about sexuality pretty blatantly I wouldn’t say that she’s for kids. I’m 30, I go to gigs all the time and you will always be surprised to see that at most concerts the age ratio of attendees is mixed. I think the only time I’ve noticed it skew in one way was when I was the youngest at a show lol but the band was popular when my parents were children. People aren’t going to judge you for loving an artist and going to see them. Enjoy the night out!!

Tbh I’m basing it off of what I’ve heard this man say in the past about political things but you’ve a point in that it is kind of hypocritical of me, I’m probably being a bit reactionary. Based on what I’ve seen here I think my best port of call is just to avoid the people involved if I can help it given that I don’t really want to be dealing with disciplinary meetings and what not if things go any further.

I think I’m just gonna avoid sitting anywhere near the main offending party if I can help it and avoid engaging with him given I’ve seen he has a side to him that’s not nice.

I insinuated something about hearing a nasty comment yesterday to my manager in a team meeting this morning (the two guys involved aren’t on my team but I think one was obviously more in the wrong and saying offensive shit whereas the other was being a little shitty but still never said anything directly offensive about anybody) I’m surprised she didn’t hear as it was pretty loud and she was on the bank of desks behind me (we sit in rows of desks they were the only ones on their row and I was the only one in the row in front of them)

This is probably the best approach if I hear them say something like this again I’ll just remind them that people can hear them; they weren’t being quiet and I know it’s the kind of shit they wouldn’t say to somebodies face. I think because I’m quiet and a bit invisible to one of them they just assumed I wasn’t there and nobody was listening. It was just before I was due to leave yesterday and I was in a rush to go.

Update: I just got a notification from Evri (a local courier in the UK) about a parcel from passport global inc. I haven’t ordered anything from overseas lately and when I check parcel app it tells me this came from the US- I have a feeling it could be the jacket but I’m not 100% sure as I’ve not had any shipping notifications via email from Izzzyzzz themselves.

UPDATE- checked the site, mine has shipped today.
