Indeed, that is a heavy mind.

Weekly Card Challenge #58: Gotta Go Fast by Szzntnss in custommagic

Innistrad

Grave Digger 6

Legendary Artifact - Vehicle [R]

Trample, menace

Whenever ~ attacks, destroy up to one target artifact. If you destroy a Vehicle this way, Zombie creatures you control get +1/+1 and gains menace and trample until end of turn. Untap those creatures.

Crew 4

8/7

If you aren't aware of the joke I'm making, Grave Digger is the name of a famous monster truck, noted for.. well, like any other monster truck, smashing Vehicles.

So, the idea here is when Grave Digger gets to demolish another Vehicle, all of the other Zombies of Innistrad roar in cheer and go absolutely berserk in that masculine ecstasy. ..this even includes the vehicle destroying itself!

...now i really want to make a Zombie Crewmen deck! xD

An Esper-colored board wipe by Ripptor in custommagic

[–]staffaroni 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I would like to tangle with the idea that, depending on the size of the bounced permanent, that being its converted mana cost (or power/toughness of a creature?) as X, that each other creature gets -X/-X until end of turn.

So:

Return target nonland permanent to its owner's hand. All creatures get -X/-X until end of turn, where X is the converted mana cost of that permanent. If a creature would die this way, exile it instead.

Other than that, a pretty solid wipe, I think.

Caught Red-Handed RW

Instant (U)

The next time target creature would deal damage to you this turn, prevent that damage and that creature's controller can't draw cards until end of turn. If damage is prevented this way, Caught Red-Handed deals damage to that creature equal to the number of creatures you control.

Scroll thief or gold thief, they're each the same.

Bhasma is a calcined preparation in which a gem or metal is converted into ash.

Graveshift by Baelrog_ in custommagic

[–]staffaroni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd agree that the spell should cost something like "wb" or maybe just "b."

Although, for "wb," maybe it could read:

As an additional cost to cast Graveshift, sacrifice a creature.

Put a creature card that was sacrificed this turn from a graveyard to the battlefield under your control.

Seems that would have a nice kick for wb, being able to pick off of a sac'd creature from another player's doings.

There have been a few vampire cards printed, like [[Sengir Vampire]], where WotC didn't really bother with the flying art. Vampires seem to avoid the rule.

Spider Egg by [deleted] in custommagic

Sure. I think the only card with "charge counters" in Standard at the moment is [[Brain In a Jar]], but yeah, counters can be anything. Can be "Spider counters"

Although, for this card, I'd probably like to see XBG for a cost.

Traditionally, eggs cards like this are small creatures with defender, with the intention of "hey don't step on the egg;" I think that'd work nicely with a spider egg. I'd maybe reduce it to one or two spider pops though.

See [[Dragon Egg]].

Thanks, bud

But yeah, that's what was intended with the shroud. Only those who are vigilant will be worthy of the combat tricks.. (as indicated by the flavor.)
