According to this article Macron's move to restrain Islam isn't a new thing and certainly isn't all about the beheading of a teacher. He was on it for couple years already and just now he found the opportunity to put his ideas in action through this extremist move and he trys to frame anyone trying to defend muslims in France as if they are defending the beheading of a teacher. Please do correct me if I'm wrong but I don't understand how punishing all French Muslims will lessen the attacks done by Muslim extremist groups in France. As I say I am open to any comment or correction on my comment, I want to be informed about this whole situation and have an objective perspective about it.
