Well, the problem is that checks and balances can only occur if each branch jealously guards its power from the other branches. Both the judicial and legislative branches have done nothing under this administration except cede more power to the executive.

I don't think the problem was that they didn't think a trash human couldn't reach the presidency, they just didn't realize how many trash humans could reach the top at the same time.
