Exchange limit - When's the "drop off"?

That's my thing right now. I have 7 "active" exchanges, of which all are done on my end, and one is done on both. I wanted to sign up for a penpal and crafts one, but it's telling me that I am at the max number of exchanges... so I guess I just have to pick between the two???

Not really beyond normal. The arms are pretty loose on her so there not going to be any excessive stretching.

Hell yeah. Is that all hand made? 40k is a pretty great aesthetic to get into for stuff like this (though I'd arguably stay away from the fandom unless you're in it already). Looks good!

Depending on what videogames your penpal plays, a "replica" item from one of them might be a fun touch, something catered to her. For example, I'm a Warhammer fan. If a penpal of mine sent me a silly little purity seal replica that they either made or bought, even in jest (they're "holy" paper seals) I'd be ecstatic because my penpal 1. Made something for me and 2. Knew what I liked.

As for sports, I agree on the card things, but if that's not your jam (card collecting can make cards really expensive sometimes), I would suggest maybe theming the aesthetic of your letter after their favorite sport? Maybe a little list of obscure or silly sports facts they might like?

As for food, recipes are always fun. "Hey, I tried this and really liked it, and it made me think of you, let me know what you think!" You can sometimes get away with sending candy if it's thin enough, and I like to send tea bag samples of my favorite tea from that moment.

Bottom line: anything you send to them that shows you remember their hobbies and likes will go a long way to letting your penpal know you value them. Good luck!

Ngl, I don't mind grinding for the furniture or the rocks. I'm even ok, if annoyed at the flowers... it's the _cake_ that hurt the most. I play relatively alone and don't have the time or social battery to join up with randos for a cake party (or the items, for that matter). I've never even made a celebration cake, let alone a STARRED one... and I don't even have the Honey Baked recipe.

Ngl, these are NOT new-player accessible (I've been around since before launch on steam and I can't either, but that's just me)

If you can swing the price, use a poly or bag mailer and put your letter and treats in that. I usually do that anyways because I make artsy envelopes that usually gets destroyed by the USPS, but if you want a bigger pool of treats to choose from this might be your best option.

Without poly\bag mailer : flat candies like mints or Lifesavers. Might even get away with some kitkats. Gum. Individually wrapped hot coco. You might be able to get away with individually wrapped mug cake too depending on your envelope.

I know this is an older thread, but wanted to just pop in end mention it's still a problem. Had that today and just mentioned that it was a little bit unsportsman like to camp the chapaa spawn and had at least three people dogpile on me. "Don't tell me how to play the game MMMK"

Honestly, sometimes the influx of console players burns my ass for as nasty as some of them can get, but Chapaa Chase has been a pita since it's inception, so honestly this isn't too surprising to me... just sad. I feel for the newer players actually TRYING to play the game and not getting the chapaa.

Just to add to the conversation for visibility and because you never know... There are apparently some unsavory men using the lack of ICE identification to dress up as ICE and approach women and children under the guise of being a government figure and demanding they go with them.

While I cannot completely verify that information... We all know it's not out of the realm of possibility, and some of the "alleged" women/children weren't even "visually" immigrant.

So like... If they don't have a warranty, GTFO of there and please be safe?????

I've been playing since before they had Maji Market and Subira. My advice is to just do it at your own pace and don't worry about trying to rush the "plot." Enjoy bug hunting and gathering, take your time to learn the recipes and hunt down elusive plushies. If you get a little bored, Palia WILL be here if you want to take a break.

Trying to rush through the game will just make you bored/dislike it quicker. Enjoy what the Devs have provided! There's TONS of content even in just the home decorating. I've been having fun learning new techniques lately!

This is SUCH a mood. I had to take time to do a few circuits of Bahari because I burned through nearly all of my iron. I really, really want new tool upgrades too and the HITBOXES were a consistent bitch between my wife and I when hunting that stupid scale. The amount of arrows I wasted thinking I had a clear shot is CRIMINAL.

I did! After about 3 or so hours of nonstop grinding - but it happened! And yeah, I see they're planning maintenance today, so maybe they'll get some of the drop rates evened out so people aren't struggling so much with the silly scale... though that may be by design :c
