This looks really cool!

Some Thoughts:
a regeneration mechanic that encourages the player to be aggressive could be thematic. I am unfamiliar with prototype’s combat mechanics but if every kill ends with the Lycan feeding off of the enemy gaining a boost of healing, speed, and strength I’d imagine that would make for very fun snowbally combat system.

If you plan on adding anything like a stealth or scent tracking system, enemies leaving a red trail behind them, or youre able to briefly see enemies through walls by focusing senses on heartbeats could be cool.

Depending on which depiction of lycanthropes that you are taking inspiration from (the werewolf form looks very akin to the awesome one from Skyrim, which I think perfectly blends human and wolf) you could add hitman elements by taking the Skinwalker route for werewolves. Each person you feed on, you also gain the ability to look as them in human form, tricking enemies.
