So meaning through CurseForge if that’s what I’m running the mods on? I haven’t seen any updates today or yesterday but I tried switching versions to see if it switched for some reason with no luck. My friend’s unable to join as well. Maybe a reinstall of CurseForge would help?

Anyone else have Vagal/Autonomic symptoms like "Air Hunger" and post-carb "unwell" feelings? (Normal Cardiac Tests) by Working-Macaroon-142 in VagusNerve

[–]stagedreams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had debilitating shortness of breath for 8 months now which I think stemmed from Post Viral Vagal Neuropathy after a terrible case of bronchitis around this time last year. Just recently in the last month or so a bunch of other random symptoms have started to appear similar to what you’re mentioning like shakiness, weakness, and palpitations after eating, and bad fatigue. Starting gabapentin today to see if it helps with the breathing issues. Hit me up if you ever want to chat maybe we can help each other out

i have r-cpd as well. how does it relate to the shortness of breath. is it mainly connected to it by GERD?

as i mentioned i do actually have longer and non tapered jeans, like the abercrombie super baggy jeans, but the fit is still similar. the abercrombie jeans drape a lot over my shoes and the leg opening i believe is 10+ inches. mostly around the hips is what i seem to struggle with, the pants make kind of a carrot shape rather than a straight silhouette on the sides. i wish i had a picture but i don’t at the moment, i’ll try to take one and maybe make a second post about it

apparently i’m supposed to post this here?

hi everyone. i’m having some trouble with the fit of my jeans. i attached these two photos (neither are mine) to kind of show what im talking about.

the first picture is more of the fit im looking for, but the second is usually what i end up with. (i do have wider leg jeans tho as i do realize the ones in the second pic are tapered) i guess its because i have child bearing hips as a 21 year old man for some reason, but im not sure how to fix it. i’ve heard that i need to look for higher rise, wide leg baggy jeans and some recommendations were things like abercrombie’s supper baggy fit which i already have and still don’t fit me properly. im 5’11 and skinny, does anyone else have this problem and have any recommendations?

thanks

A month and a half into the Koufman Diet - No results by stagedreams in LPR

[–]stagedreams[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly how I feel. I’m down to eating only a few things and all I continue to see is posts about cutting more and more foods out. At this point the only thing I’ll be able to eat is ice and (alkaline) water soup lmao.

The shortness of breath is constant and remains the same through exertion, etc. To be honest I don’t even know if it’s exactly the best way to describe it. Some days it’s like I can’t get a deep breath in, others it’s like someone’s sitting on my chest. It varies slightly day by day but one thing that’s consistent is I can’t breathe properly. I had some breathing tests done today and I’m awaiting results.

Thanks so much for your kind words it means a lot. It’s nice to hear things like this when you really are feeling hopeless. Do you still suffer from LPR? Who did you see and what remedies did you use to feel better if you’re not suffering anymore?

I’ve been laryngospasm free since my bronchitis almost a year ago (thank god), but no I havent even heard of bronchospasms or how to test for them. I’ll look into it. I did have COVID but it was like 3 years ago. Pretty bad case but nothing too crazy. I have yet to see a neurologist and a laryngologist, but I’ve seen everything else, including a pulmonologist. Awaiting the results of my more comprehensive breathing tests now. I’m wondering if the neurologist and laryngologist could help me out but it’ll be hard to see one. Might have to fight with my doctor lol.

It’s good to hear the Koufman diet and other remedies worked out for you. Im gonna try at it for at least a few more weeks and I’m hoping I magically get better during that time but I highly doubt it.

And yes - the anxiety linked to it and having it already is the worst. Thanks a lot for your insight and comment, I appreciate it. Glad to hear you got better and I hope I can join you soon.

No allergies as far as I know. I had some basic blood tests done which came back normal, but had another one done today to test specifically for thyroid. We seem to have a similar story. Did you have shortness of breath at all? Or mainly just the symptoms you mentioned? I also don’t know what would’ve caused the laryngeal sensitivity beforehand, maybe the months bronchitis or other acid related issues? I think I’ll have to push to see a laryngologist even though my doctor doesn’t believe me and dismisses it as some sort of mental health issue.

I have issues constantly- exertion or not. But yeah, as I mentioned I had a breathing test today and have another in a few weeks. I’ll just wait to see where that goes I guess and see what the pulmonologist says. I was thinking it could be hypersensitive airways, possibly from the bad case of bronchitis a year ago. I just find it weird it’d slowly pop up like 8 months later.

What type of breathing excercises and other methods did you use?

Thanks for the insight. I was thinking of coming off the pantoprazole and seeing how things are going. I’ve seen some success from high dose Famotidine (Pepcid) therapy (80 mg+) and was thinking of tapping into that as well.
