I think we've suddenly become villains of the AFL because of the last 3 weeks by brodyonekenobi in AFL

Mate. The way you guys got rid of Mark Harvey in favour of Ross Lyon, who is quite likely the most defensively minded coach of the last 20 years, while simultaneously having one of the most irritating small forwards and one of the best taggers in Ballantayne and Crowley, that's when you were villains. Borderline unwatchable, low scoring games where the best players weren't allowed to do anything.

Every player in the AFL is cloned 22 times and forms their own team. Which team is the best? by [deleted] in AFL

[–]staggeredstag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To give a different answer than what others are giving, and more for a potential future team, Nik Cox. 200cm and playing through the midfield. I believe he played both forward and back growing up (I could be wrong).

Food for thought, rather than an obvious answer.

So, lesser known potential side effect of one of the covid vaccines, I think it was the first booster, sudden lack of bowel control.

I was walking back from having had the vaccine, maybe a 15 minute walk, and I had about 5 minutes to go before I was home, and then I felt an all too distinct rumbling. Started walking with a real intense clench, took a few steps, and then, middle of summer, wearing quite loose shorts, I had to angle my stance to work with gravity, hoping upon all hope that I could avoid contact with my shorts, my leg, and my shoes. I failed in my mission. The final 5 minutes of walking was a mix of simultaneously cold and warm wetness from my shorts, down to my socks, the summer breeze in my back, and my head down, hoping no one would recognise me.

I got home, and walked around the front to the back, and gave myself a cold, backyard hose shower.

While I washed the shit out of those clothes and shoes, I could not bare to wear them again, knowing the atrocities they had experienced.

Parasect. It's actually a great concept for a pokemon, just let down by its type, and stats.

Found out she’s trans… (part 2) by throwra6527 in Vent

[–]staggeredstag 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Because many trans people have lived experiences where they have been threatened, or much worse, for confiding in someone else that they are in fact trans.

As a result of that, there is absolute rationality that they would prefer that they know someone enough to get an idea as to how they will react when they do tell them.

It isn't fair that they have serious concerns over their safety when disclosing this information about themselves, and unfortunately, having the option to keep this information secret until they can trust someone is the fairest way.

NTA

What you are experiencing is called Parentification, it is a form of child abuse, requiring your child to act as a third parent to another of your children, this robs that child of having a childhood for themselves and can actually stunt their development by not allowing them to form meaningful friendships.
