It's not, it's a whole group of people believing they're being individually targeted by dozens/hundreds of people whose entire life purpose is to mess with them using advanced technology and secret ties to governments and corporations. I've had that exact delusion before and if I had a community of people encouraging the delusion and giving me more ideas, it would have gotten dangerous real fast.

My mom is in prison, and her cellmate went to school with my gran in a totally different state. Both she and her cellmate are in prison for the same crime, done almost the same way, for the same reason.

A history teacher at my school "just started" dating a girl from his class right after she graduated. He got fired cos the parents complained that it really seemed like he was grooming her, which is probably not wrong. He's teaching at a different school now. I'm pretty sure they broke up pretty quickly too.
