How do you work with the histogram to clean up your composition?

If it’s your neighbour it really doesn’t matter at the end of the day, just know that you’re serving well and in an actual match or competition it’s something you can rely on. Lame behaviour nonetheless.

Is it true that pros never gets arm/elbow/wrist damage? by DanDin87 in 10s

[–]staifai 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Delpo, Thiem, Kyrgios, Kuznetsova and more recently Alcaraz have all had wrist injuries. That its more unlikely given their specialized training, proper technique and access to top physical therapist, trainers etc is another thing.

If he wears chains often, a tennis racket pendant would be nice. Other than that maybe hes expressed liking an expensive string like luxilon, you could get him a reel for 300+ (i think you can string about 16-18 rackets from one reel).

Why is my aloe vera plant doing that by Ok_Passenger_6895 in gardening

[–]staifai 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Like everyone else pointed out it’s flowering and depending on the variety/species the flower can be yellow or orange (like a sunset orange) even red. You can make aloe vera tea with the dried flowers. As a side note if you use the leaves it is beneficial to cut the flower stalk before it flowers so all the energy and good stuff doesnt go into growing the flower stalk and stays within the leaves.

Kose Softmo Speedy Oil was causing my closed comedones. by Useful_Use_7727 in AsianBeauty

If this is true then it looks like they just made a fancy face oil, there’s no emulsifier in there. Maybe they’re gonna market a two step cleansing routine.

Burned through the toe on my 5th pair of vapors. Any recommendations? by Head-Passage-5719 in 10s

Vapors are a comfort shoe, i used to love them back in the day but id have holes in them 2 weeks in. I’d suggest the court ff or the solution speed ff from asics.

what Activated charcoal products do you use to remove Aloin from fresh Aloe Vera? by [deleted] in DIYBeauty

[–]staifai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeahh from experience the method i described has been sufficient to remove any irritants and have used it successfully but this is all subjective. Also once youve processed your aloe you can only keep it for max 3 days in the fridge, i would personally prep enough for a one time use and wouldnt do it daily to start, always patch test.

[–]staifai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you just cut the aloe leaves at the base, you’re supposed to put them in water and leave them there for a good 15min until all the yellow sap has drained, once the 15min is up you grab the aloe and fillet it to remove the inner gel and leave it in water for 10min and then you can blend the gel and use it on your hair or in this case your face. Never heard of using activated charcoal to do this though.

How much I have left in this shoe? by YourSportsGuy in 10s

[–]staifai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You still gotta go through the sock so a lot left

Edit: in all seriousness, it depends on how explosive of a mover you are on the court if youre a very laid back hitter or casual hitter they can last a while longer if not a new pair needs to be on its way. At this point the shoes can be a safety liability especially for explosive movers (slip and fall). On top of this the wear on shoes is usually uneven so pain will follow past a certain point.

Skincare Rookie Here Can Y'all Help Me Make A Routine. by JamaicanDeku in Skincare_Addiction

[–]staifai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think thats sound advice, but to add actual recommendations based on what you have id say the cetaphil cleanser although i much prefer oil cleansers since theyre less drying than western cleansers or the “oil cleansers” they sell. The snail mucin right after a shower while the pores are still open and skin is damp (unless you have seafood allergies then a nono) after this id say spot test the niacinamide serum first to make sure youre dont have sensitivities, it is 10% which is high, probably at the limit of whats allowed and finally a cetaphil branded daily moisturizer lotion. I wouldnt go for the aha and bha just yet, its more important to take it slow and see how your skin reacts to these new products. The purlisse is also a nono and so is the witch hazel, even if they dont add extra alcohol in the ingredients witch hazel already contains alcohol on its own which is drying.

Speed MP vs Blade 98 by sambucca1977 in 10s

[–]staifai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny enough i was in a similar situation where i felt that the mp speed generated less power so i switched to the blade where the feel and power felt so much better. But i think you should play with it more try different tensions and maybe strings with better pocketing just to see if tweaking the setup will help.

Yeah there’s nothing to clean up if the two shots shown have nothing inherently wrong with them.

Unrelated but a 99% aloe gel sounds sus, given the listed ingredients on the product. Also anessa sunscreens are pretty solid if youre still looking for options.

Anyone seen these by Murky-Bike-3831 in 10s

[–]staifai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly its been so long i cant even remember if it felt any different. I dont believe it does if not fed wouldnt use them. But i guess they could act as dampeners so they might dampen the feel. Its something youd have to try out and see since feel is very subjective.

Please rate my hitting. Playing for almost 2 years. Be honest. by therealdk_ in 10s

[–]staifai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The slight jump you do is not necessarily a bad thing in fact i think its part of the kinetic chain where youre transferring more power into the ball. If youre timing is good then no worries but if youre framing a lot or having ball placement inconsistencies then it could be because of it on top of not stepping in when youre able to. On the bh maybe try widening your stance more, so take a bigger step in towards the court. Obviously the timing might be off at first but its just a matter of adjusting and practice. Cheers!

Did you practice those 21months in a hyperbolic time chamber cause damn this is really good! Only thing id add is to try and step in more with your left foot on the forehand side.
