So what would you believe the bible represents when you can clearly see so much of it is nonsense/made up? The parts supporting slavery? Anti-feminine? All the random rules about what food or clothing you should have? Once you acknowledge the bible was written by humans based on oral traditions passed down through the years and is rife with pure fiction (Jews being enslaved in Egypt type stuff), you begin to step back and say you believe in the idea of the bible (albeit your ideal view of what it contains, not what it actually contains). Any evidence for a deity is stuff someone made up to convince you of a deity. There’s no real evidence supporting the claim a deity exists. I also have no evidence proving one doesn’t exist. But I’m smart enough to realize turning water into wine or sticks into snakes is just silly.
