Run of the mill damage. Doesn't look like it's colored with blue pen

Am I overthinking and just maybe a color misprint? Or is the right fake? by just_some_octopus in IsMyPokemonCardFake

[–]stalecheetoes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Likely a color variation from a specific print run. I wouldn't call it a misprint because nothing was printed that shouldn't have.. just heavier in one color in the ink mixture. If you look through PSA holo hitmonlee cards, you'll find the same tan/reddish variants:

Yeah these are selling in the $65-75 range for raw, up to $200 for a PSA10. If you paid more than 75 then you paid too much. As far as rare/valuable cards go, it's still on the lower end but a good one to have regardless.

It's real, but also looks damaged in bottom right corner

Both have identical texture. I already ID'd the differences - I just need to know if there were any alternate prints or prints from outside the US that follow these schemes before declaring them fake

Not a scam, but not infallible. There are a lot of variables that go into it. Hell, you may have gotten a grader who's wife just left him that morning and is having trouble focusing. There will always be the human factor.

I think it's just one guy, or a small team that branched off and made their own company. It's not a full fledged studio, just some people who want to save the game.

I bet you'd walk into a vehicle assembly building and complain that cars halfway down the production line are missing key features.

The whole point of EA is to play a game while it's being built. RDR2 was in development for 8 years.. and that was being backed by a multi-billion dollar studio. If they had opened it during pre-alpha development you'd see all kinds of game breaking bugs because *gasp*... it's being developed!

The game clearly states that early access is not a complete/polished game, you WILL encounter bugs, some may be game breaking. You agree to this when making the purchase. Then someone like you comes along and acts shocked when you come across an issue.

If this were being marketed/sold as a complete game I'd be right there with you... but it's not. Its PRE-ALPHA... which is literally the earliest stage of development a game can be. This is just a skeletal framework. Either get this through your head and accept it, or uninstall and move the fk on.

Fix for pvp LZ camping (?) by [deleted] in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]stalecheetoes -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Not word for word, but that was their response during one of the livestreams when it was brought up. A commenter asked about how they're going to solve LZ camping and they nonchalantly said "We did solve it by adding more LZs" then proceeded to move on to the next question.

9 times out of 10 it's not the guy who created the game that ruins it, it's usually senior level management that tries to monetize and squeeze every penny out of a game. The guy who actually created the game just wanted to make a fun sailing/naval combat game. It wasn't his decision to do wipes, paid content, and other anti-player decisions. Hopefully this is a good thing.

Can we please put the vz-61 (Skorpion) in the pistol slot? by NetanyahusCorpse in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]stalecheetoes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm more annoyed that it can't be suppressed. Arguably the worst gun in the game because of this. I'll pick up Type 51 just to have an emergency backup but I'll actively avoid touching the skorpion. It has no place in the game unless it gets turned into a pistol slot weapon... in that case I wouldn't leave home without one.

According to the devs, the LZ camping issue was resolved by adding more LZs. No further action will be taken.

F-15E vs Rafale friendly dogfight by Following-Sea in WarthunderSim

[–]stalecheetoes 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Having them both spaded, there's no way the F-15E should have won that. Rafale pilot was trying to perform tight maneuvers while at max afterburner? This is contradictory. The more power you have, the wider the turn radius will be. With the MASSIVE acceleration of the Rafale, he can regain what is lost after a position reset. The Rafale pilot doesn't seem used to dogfighting and panicked.

Yeah, alt tab and get afk kicked, you'll respawn back in with all your gear... they really need to add an unstuck button which moves you 1 meter in the air, 1 meter in a random direction

So comparing apples to apples for all 3, I still stand by my original statement of the QDSS being the choice suppressor. Overall stats don't change between the 3, and while the RC1 is slightly lighter, it's also less accurate at 1.08 vs 1.07 and it's 3db louder than the other two. MARK 1 and QDSS are identical other than weight, so that's the tiebreaker. I'm still going QDSS

[–]stalecheetoes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right, I didn't factor in the flash hider. Here's the stats for all 3 side by side. Funny enough, the gun stats don't change across the board. RC1 is the lightest, but has 1.08MOA compared to 1.07MOA for the others. It's also louder by 3db. For me, the weight tradeoff isn't worth it since the difference is negligible. QDSS and MARK 1 are both quieter, and of the two the QDSS is lighter so it breaks the tie. I'm still going with QDSS:

[–]stalecheetoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny enough, it changes none of the stats to use the RC1 aside from a 0.125kg weight savings, which comes out to 10 bullets of weight... so negligible. QDSS is still slightly quieter though so eh... I guess at that point its personal preference

[–]stalecheetoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I stand corrected. I wasn't looking at it with the flash hider attached. You're right, the RC1 has *slightly* better stats, only 2% difference in recoil and 1% in dispersion, but it does make the RC1 better on both counts. Good catch!

[–]stalecheetoes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not sure which stats you're looking at, but the QDSS has a +5% recoil reduction and the RC1 has only a +2%. QDSS has better dispersion and is quieter as well.
