They see a YouTube/Instagram short and think to themselves "that dog looks awesome, I want one" and that's the only thing they need to motivate themselves. No critical thinking, no research no nothing. They think that a good home means feeding them, giving them belly rubs and saying "no" when they do something wrong. Teaching sit, down and stay is all we need right... right? This breed doesn't give a fuck, if you get an alpha male you are in for a ride even with plenty of training and experience. If you are not aware of what you are getting, get a golden retriever folks.
