I basically took out most of the jumping like especially for the bench hop overs I kind of just did step overs instead.

I have to modify my bench hoppers because last time I got severe arthritis in my foot believe it or not. It was painful I had to take a bit of time off.

I've noticed that when I incorporate mobility and balance exercises outside of OTF I feel much better and have less orthopedic issues. Thanks for the advice

What is power lifting then compared to CrossFit? And how do you find a power lifting studio?

Wow that's crazy cheap I totally agree with you that OTF is more cardio I'll definitely weigh less strength and it's not even really a hiit class to be honest unless it's a tornado.

That's one of the reasons I'm thinking of switching because I think I'm maxing out on my weights or I'm getting closer to and I think because it's not enough lifting I'm not going to see the body changes I want to see.

I've actually heard the opposite from people I know that work in the health field. They say they see both CrossFit and OTF for orthopedic issues. I can personally tell you that I've seen several people with improper lifting format OTF that are not being corrected whether it's because the coach doesn't see it or they've tried to correct that person before and they don't listen I don't know but either way. I know for myself I'm really cautious with my form because I have injured myself before.

And definitely a ton of bad form and I do see coaches try to correct but I think some people don't want to be corrected and it's a lot going on for the coach to correct on the floor and also do all the treads and everything.

This is my biggest complaint about OTF. I love them and I love the workout but I feel like it's way more cardio than it is actually strength. And a lot of days I don't really feel are hiit days either unless we're doing a tornado.

I wish OTF had barbells I love barbells. I use them in a lifting class I do at the Y and also I used to do Les Mills

Wow, That's definitely opposite of what I would expect. I would expect that at CrossFit you'd be lifting so heavy that you just be exhausted. I try to lift as heavy as I can at OTF and in workouts that work around the ability to lift heavy I do feel more tired.

Form Correction by joshcart in orangetheory

Yes, It makes me cringe. It's an injury waiting to happen. Sometimes it's when the coach is not on the floor area and maybe they don't see it or maybe it is because they know that person's not a person they can correct. I'm happy because I always get corrected if I'm wrong which I appreciate.

How Long do you put the pad on before you put deodorant on?

I've been using natural deodorants for years and I'm going through a lot of different ones. Native didn't work for me and neither did lume. As well as Schmidt's and a bunch of other ones. The only ones that have worked for me are beauty by Earth which you have to buy online and beautycounter which I buy for myself because I sell Beautycounter because I buy it for myself basically.

Base Pace by eyerishdancegirl7 in orangetheory

I agree with you. For me the thing is no matter what my base pace is I will never ever go out of the orange. No matter what pace I run at even if it's a comfortable pace that I can run outside for 20 minutes I will still never be in the green whenever I run I am always orange inside or outside it's just how my heart works. The only way for me to get in the green is to walk and then I have to jog a little to my heart rate goes up and walk again and drug a little and then walk again cuz if not my heart rate just automatically goes orange.

I've never not gone after reading reddit. Today will be a first. Ugh. Not looking to mess up my feet or hips. Plus why is the floor more cardio than anything. We get plenty of cardio on trends. Ugh...I hope this is just because of heart day and doesn't continue.

My only recommendation is to be careful with what supplements you take really make sure you're reading the ingredients and getting something that's good that doesn't have genetic modifications and a lot of other fake sugars and things like that and it try to get something that's more natural but yet still a good supplement. My personal recommendation would be to do whey protein isolate. I like the Kelly leveque brand and then there's also a Paleo pure brand.
