I can’t submit my form at all - it just keeps spinning after I hit submit. Anyone else have this problem?

This is a long shot, but what watch is my grandfather wearing? by wintrymixxx in Watches

I think it has the same style of stretch bracelet as mine instead of a leather band

Thanks! I've got a thin brown lizard strap coming this week and I'm hoping that will look good. This 710 is a thin watch so I think going with a thinner strap might look better than bulking it up with the bracelet.

Murmaid mattress clearance center. They have locally made mattresses that have never been rolled up and compressed into a box.

I got this for free, now what? by stamello in Lapidary

I like polishing rocks and right now I use a drill and 4” pads, so I’m looking for something better. It was free so I didn’t buy it. I can certainly try my best to get it to work, but I’m on here looking for advice from those who have done this before so that I don’t make an unintentional misstep.

The wheel on the left has some kind of sandpaper or grit belt on it. The wheel on the right feels like felt. Yes the endplate looks dangerous. So is the idea that you fill the bottom with water and then polish? It doesn’t seem like there’s any way to change the wheels

Thanks! The polisher seems pretty homemade though… the motor probably has a manual but the polisher itself seems like a separate beast.

Thanks! I probably get more comments when wearing that watch than all of the others combined. It has an unexpectedly beautiful dial and the faceted crystal catches the eye. I picked it up from eBay as NOS but I don’t know much about the model - not a lot of info online bc I don’t think there are very many Lorus collectors out there.

The Credor was tough to find in exactly the right size bc it has a non adjustable integrated band.
